What have you done to your P5 today?

Also removed the door moldings on the driver side- it was hellish until I went and bought a 3M Stripe Off Wheel for my cordless drill- HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

ive been driving my car with moldings on one side and glue on the other because i havnt gotten adhesive remover yet, where do i get the stripe off wheel? and it didnt damage your paint at all?

Also, I installed a 320GB external HDD in the car today. I have all of my music on there, it's quite awesome.

ive got the same kind of set up, its awesome having all your music in the car hidden in the glove box

Nope no damage to the paint at all! I was definitely nervous to use it at first, especially since you use it dry with no lubricant or anything- but it works brilliantly! It took me a while to find a store that sells them, but I eventually found one at an O'Reilly Auto Parts. The part number is 07498- they don't keep it on the shelves, they stock it in the back so you'll have to go to the counter. Good luck!
BTW mine cost me around $30, but I definitely think it was worth it! Plus I can use it on my next car years from now when my P5 no longer runs, or when I decide to get a weekend car (drive2)

What did you use to strip...I could of sold you this can of stuff...it was SUPER expensive and I have a ton left...mine is rusting, but even following the how-to's online it takes a lot of time...it is coming, but slowly...

i used this stuff that i had already, i had like a gallon so i didnt want to buy new stuff before i used this lol, it was stripping reallllly slow until it got the clear coat off, now i have a ton of bare metal spots and thats only like 3 coats of stripper, plus i think my dad had the car repainted when he drove it around and there as like 3 coats of paint on there lol
im gonna look up some methods to make it rust faster but im putting it on my car this weekend and letting it rust naturally lol

Well, titanium muffler, steel piping... But that is a great price, assuming it's a real JIC and not a fake. And I'm always hesitant buying anything over $100 on eBay. I've been ripped off on an Apex N1 catback for my old civic from a shop that didn't even have one in stock. Boy, am I jaded or what!? Haha

Speaking of rust, I repaired my rust spot. I still have to clean it up, lightly wet sand it and wax it. It's not the best job, but I'm sure I'll be doing it all over again next spring too...

And I took this shot at the park the other day. The sign says "Reserved for low emitting/fuel efficent vehicles", I'm catless, tee-hee. I just parked there for the pic, then moved my car and I donate money to the parks. Don't want anyone to get their panties in a bunch...

I was too but I've seen this guy on eBay for ages, it's legit. I think I might bite the bullet on it after I do what I really want which is...

...cams. :D

If you throw in cams you have to port the head and IM, but it will wake that car up, and put it at it's N/A limit. I say go for it.

Matt, I thought you had that nice Mazdaspeed axle back? What happened to that? Damn, son. You do change your mind every week! Haha

you have a hood thats completely rusted?

Give me another month or two, and I'm sure there will be holes in it.

Oh wait... yeah, my rust isn't in the trendy locations... its in the areas where if it gets any worse, my hood will fly off with no warning.

Actually, I'm going with the JDM cams which are completely plug and play drop in. You actually get 17 whp with no tuning required, that's what's so great about them.

Also, they are really cheap. Less than $380 shipped from Corksport for the intake and exhaust cam.

I don't change my mind, I had to sell it because I was broke. Big difference LOL.

I hear ya there, brotha. It just seems like you buy/sell/sell a lot of parts. Your car is completely different every month! Haha

installed 205/40/17 thought it was going to be more of a stretch then it is.. o well still gives me more room for more low..

well all the paint is stripped off the hood, next step is wash it with some soap and and scrub all the oils off of it, then a nice bath in some peroxide/vinegar/salt solution :)
