What have you done to your P5 today?

I will still be slow if I use factory MSP parts, but it will be more enjoyable to drive everyday.

I test drove a couple MSPs and they made up my mind to get a Mustang Mach 1 after all. Yeah they handle 5x better than my stock P5 and having a BOV is fun (the P5s really should have a turbo from the factory). But it's still an FS-DE and to make real power you have to build the motor, tranny, diff, etc and there is still a limit to what the car can handle (Read=Fail Wheel Drive). I loved my Mazda and I probably would snap up a clean MSP if I could find one but they are rare and most are way overpriced. MS3s and MS6s are a different story, I would drive the wheels off of either of those cars.

turbo P5> MS3

I always love being the underdog. ;)

250whp is my goal when I finally get boost. As long as there is no Autobahn in the states, that is plenty of power for me.

BTW......to keep on topic. Finally did the city light mod. Turned out great. Full "How to" w/pics this evening.

I dont mind my 30mpg, have seen it up around 38 on a really long trip

I plan on doing the opposite to most of you guys at the end of next year, which will be to start off my NA screamer build, plan is for 150hp which I think is reasonable...

Im still waiting ever so patiently for black wheel lugs, smd t10 licence plate bulbs and msp shift knob to arrive from the states, need the car to look its best at a mazda test drive day i've been invited to in a couple weeks :D

just got back from the OCC meet.

there were a whole 5 p5s there! mine, two silver, one laser blue and another laser blue that had been into a bit of an accident lately and had mismatching blue doors.

also one turbo mp3, 3 msps and i think two es's or 1 es and 1 lx

Iver never knew that 18" rx8 wheels were the "aftermarket" wheel of choice for mazda owners. if any car didnt have its factory wheels, it had rx8 wheels or some after market brand.

ill put up all my pictures in a thread later tonight when i get my camera cable

and i was striving for a high mpg tank for this trip but i missed the caravan of mazdas on the way to the meet so i was speeding, A LOT to play catch up. was doing 110 a few times.

DUde wtf are you putting on the hood to strip the paint???

As for my p5... changed the oil-mobil 1 and i painted two of my rims a baby bluish type of color.. all i need now are my new tires.. and paint the other two..

Wow.....I need to give out a watch list to the company who makes that with all my exgirlfriends on it.... And make sure they dont get any of that....lol

Hell yea...lol...it is aircraft stripper...s*** was expensive as hell, the can I bought was $40...like half a gallon...he said this kind required little work...he was right...

I got mine at NAPA...after reading quite a few reviews on it there was a certain kind they carried that was suggested over the others for its superb job...

I used aircraft stripper to strip powder coated rims, too. That stuff is no joke. It burns the skin like there's tmrow. Even through heavy duty latex gloves.

Hell yea...I had some super thick gloves on and it was hurting like hell...bad decision wearing sandals and having a glob fall on my toe...
