What have you done to your P5 today?

Is this the "What have you done to your HIDs" thread? I've seen nothing but HID talk. Matt, if you want to sell your product, I've got nothing against that, but please start a new thread. I'd consider going through here and moving all the MattV HID stuff there, but honestly I don't have that many hours to waste in my day...

The pics are P5 related and they show what I've done. I'll make new threads from now on or post in my FS thread.

I know, there's no disputing that, but it's becoming a bit of a 'showcase' if you know what I mean, and we have special areas for those (the marketplace for example) :)

Espelir/Tokico FTW!!! My progress bar is in the mail...Winx2

:] agree'd looks and handles beautifully without looking too overly done, it's sporty. The sway bar makes a huge difference too. I did my rear first and discovered that the "kit" that I got for the stabilizer bars didn't come with nuts so I had to get them from Mazda :P 18 bucks for 8 nuts. So basically I was driving around for a little while with the sway bar just dangling there x). It really does make a world of a difference around those sharp corners though. The rear just stays with you.

MP3 ECU is on my list right after I get some new wheels ;)
-In other news, I discovered my midpipe cat has a hole in it :P I'm probably gonna end up buying some headers and installing the MSP midpipe that I bought from CTt3P5 a couple months ago. Also I washed my car today and realized that my paints gone to s***, the clear coat is just disappearing off of my front and rear bumper, it's terrible, my side mirrors are even worse the clear coats long gone and the paints already going :(.

And this part really made my day :) I had this obnoxious buzz coming from the passenger side of my p5 every time I'd hit a certain rpm (around 2 1/2) and I was talking with a forum member about it, and there's this kind of guard in the door jam a black plastic piece it goes behind the fender liner. And I guess it vibrates at that certain rpm and transfers the sound to the a-pillar or something i don't know. But I opened up the fender liner and went back there and took the piece out, and guess what no more buzz :)

The piece looks like this:

So now I've just got two more annoying sounds to take care of :P one from the heat shield above the resonator and one from the rear end of the exhaust.

Damn I typed a lot(hi)!

DING DING DING DING DING!!!!!

Holy Christ, someone finally got it. I read the posts preceding justanothermp5's post like a mute genius who couldn't tell the retard that 1 + 1 = 2.

P5 owners need and deserve an aftermarket lip.

That being said - Lewis7789...you hit that s*** like Lewis and Clark explored the west without a map.

Bwahaha! That's awesome. But yes, It's the front lip (technically not a splitter because it doesn't go all the way back but it does look like a splitter). I just got it yesterday and will install it this weekend. I'll post another link to the "How To" once I'm done writing it up sunday night or so. Hope you guys can follow that link a little better... I keed, I keed.

They have it in the How to section. Just wondering if anyone else has done it. But It seems that id rather take the trunk cage vs the side sub enclosure. lol

A turbo P5 without a trunk full of tools?? I have enough tools in the back of my p5 to do just about anything +2 jackstands. I'm going to do a fiberglass enclosure amp rack but with little cubbies for tools and cleaning supplies eventually.

Looks great.. where did you get the CF buttom of the bumper?I didn't even know that, that came off.
DG motorsports...it's called a "valance" it's for sale if you want it, perfect shape too!
