What have you done to your P5 today?

Found out today all my bulbs came in I was waiting for, so have a little install meet planned for next Friday/Saturday...

Going to be putting in footwell lights, puddle lights, new Pioneer CD player, rewiring the Focals to run on an active setup as opposed to passive, and installing new mirrors...pretty excited...
 
So I had time this afternoon to install 2 of the 4 mounts, and although its only the drivers side & front mount done, they have improved clutch contro & wheel hop 10 fold!

Vibrations are a little different to what I am used to, as its noticeable through all gears driving in town (pretty bad around 1000-1800rpm), but you can not notice a difference doing 100k's down the highway... Its just something I will have to get use to, and would assume it will get better once all mounts are in, and have couple thousand K's are put on them..

Overall, I love them! :D:D:D

Just drive...lol they will break themselves in it'll take a few thousand Kilometers before it does though.

Went for another drive tonight, they really do bring back the bite, but then again, the drivers (passenger for you guys :p) and front stock mounts basically fell apart when I took them out! :eek:
 
Dyno'ed 101/109 hp/tq on an oil drinking motor (MP3 ecu, racing beat catback, intake snorkel delete)

Ordered Carbing type-1 front strut tower bar for a little bling
 
I did a seafoam treatment and it smoked like crazy, guess it was a bit dirty in there at 72,000 miles. Also put some belt dressing on the belts and lubed the pulleys and tightened the belts, no more squeaks! Then I vacumed the inside and gave her a bath also had the tire's rotated, I guess it was big day for the P5. Cheers!!!

I seafoamed my car and had to buy a new O2 sensor, be on the lookout for a CEL, it will probably be the 1st O2.
 
drove home from work and encountered heistation in the snow.... ( WEIRD) wide band was saying 14.7-15.1 back and fourth... in between shifts was hitting 10.3 then back to 14.7.... when the hessitation came inplat it was like a hiccup... and the wide band would read 11.3 then go back to 14.9ish..
cleaned the maf... changed the filter... it still didnt really help...
 
I got my eyelids from Yudkib today and I have to say, these are awesome! Here is a crappy test fitment with some standard tape:

I noticed that one was slightly bigger than the other, however these are made BY HAND and are damn good quality, even by those standard.

Well I finished my mp3 ecu installation... now I'm working on installing my OBX header... Everything is going well, but I don't have a wrench big enough to get the egr valve pipe off... Anyone know the correct size? Or any suggestions on how to get it off? -Dave
