Remounted my GPS, Kind of like it, I'm sure it will grow on me just in time to trade her in.

thats where i keep my radar detector, they cant see it from where they stand if i get pulled over so they can give me bs (five-0)

^^^ Thats a really good idea. And I think it's a good spot for the GPS too. They get stolen a lot and in that spot you wouldn't need to take it out every night, no one would see it hiding up there.

no its not a good hiding spot....my car got broken into and my radar was placed in that spot as well...and i have the tint on the top portion as well as 20% tint around too and it was still visible to the guys who broke in.
safest bet is just to unmount and take it inside every day.

did some half assed paint job on the engine bay parts, looks 100x better then it being all blue, I dont mind how you can only see part of the still blue rocker cover I also added the mazda badge I bought months ago too, a little too big for the cut out, but still looks the goods

Have you thought about putting it down at the very bottom of the dash in the middle...that is where mine is usually mounted, but with yours being much smaller it may not work the same...mine is huge...

I hear ya man no disrespect here just saying I've been reading up on how to turbo the protege for a year.Getting parts at the same time on top of that I do have my own place and bill's come first.I've been getting what I can when I can.Intercooler was mounted plus hole's are already cut out for the piping and slim fan's installed I just figured I would do some stuff ahead of time so I could just worry about the more important things when the day came to install the kit.On another note I've been in the honda game forever so this is all new to me so still learning.I really could careless what anyone else think's about what I'm going to do to my car or what part's I have installed.I'm doing me that's all I can say.(first)

I was just giving you a hard tiem to much like dub. As long as your not rolling around like that for over a year your good. As dub I even teased him about this "interfooler" when he installed his. I even posted his ass in the ricer thread. (rlaugh)

should move the radar down a lil to the tip of the tint, so the tint wont affect your detection as much.
ive field tested this myself after researching on radar dection stuff, and it really does affect the detection of Radar and Laser.
