Actually, it just depends on what kind of pleasure you're trying to give. My gf loved my protege with the stiff motor mounts.... especially when stopped at a light. With the A/C on.
Just sayin.

IT'S ALIVE!!!!
The car is running and idling great. So far I have no leaks that I can find. Tomorrow is tuning time and also time for me to figure out why the oil pressure gauge isn't reading pressure. It's also coming off the stands for the first time in 5 days.
I'm cut up, bruised, tired, and dirty as hell but hearing that puppy turn over the first time was the most amazing thing I've experienced in a long time.

Nope it's not pinged out at 100. I think I don't have the power wire hooked up or something. I don't think the needle moves. The gauge lights up though so i think i just forgot the power wire for the gauge itself.

hey , where did ya get the rotors? I think upgraded brakes are a must. You cant go wrong having a safer car.

oh, and FYI, the way TWM does their short shift boots is they don't leave the hole up top as big, so they didn't use the little retainer ring up top. Just a fun face.

I really didnt know...when I first put them on....I was like this isnt going to work. It looked like front tires were right in the fender well....Then I went to drive it to see, I was like NO RUBBING!!!! Awesome! lol
Im also trying out a Harness bar from a TSX because the distance from the mounting points are the same as our car 47". I have that on the way.

Swapped out my BKR5E's for the ZFR6F11's... I noticed a great improvement!
Idle is smoother, feels quite a bit peppier after 6k, no more surging at low speed, I can actually fully engage the clutch without revving and back into my driveway with no hesitation or surging. great $10 investment
Also gave it a wash and wax which i havent done since i got it, cleaned up real nice!
