What have you done to your P5 today?

>.< ... My MAM built shortblock is going up for sale ... Might just be a head gasket though ...

I have absolutely no need or want to do really any performance modifications to the P5...I am completely happy with how it is...I do believe it to be a headgasket though...Thanks...also yea...where is that FS PM...lol...

where the hell is your fs thread anyways.?? that was a week ago you said you'd have that up.. unless i just missed it

Nah - It's going to be tough to miss, It's HUGE. I'm always working so it's tough to carve out the time. Right now I'm 99% sure it's dropping Fri/Sat this week :). Right now I'm typing out all the descriptions of the items to minimize questions, so members can decide right away that it's a part they can use ...

awesome. i'm going to have more competition for people not buying my turbo kit. ****

On topic - Brought my P5 in for a TX state inspection (passed), Went downtown to register and get TX plates and apparently I need proof of sales tax paid when I bought the car in Cali in 2005. I don't keep registration paperwork accept for the current year (guess I should) so I just mailed off a $20 check to the CA DMV for a copy - or Texas wants to charge me sales tax on the car - bah.

I know, I know - I registered my wife's PT cruiser no prob 'cause I had the dealer paperwork with me and it showed the sales tax (didn't even register as important at the time). But it's something they want to see ... and I bought my P5 private party so there was no dealer paperwork. It's paid off now and I had the title in hand. They pulled an "estimated value" of 4K something - and wanted an additional $358 Tax - yeah right - I already paid a freaking high sales tax in Cali. Pissed me off having to send $20 to California, but there is no way I'm paying an additional $358.

yeah....i def don't rememeber doing that....but it is possible....i moved here 7 yrs ago, and that's a long time for me to remember something...i had the same thing....i had a truck i bought private party but i still don't remember having to do the bs paperwork..

where you move to here?

Got my BC's installed! No pics yet because I am a little disappointed

Problems:

1. They don't work with the GT Spec rear strut tower bar. The studs are not long enough. GT Spec bar will be up for sale soon. Also looking to buy non-cut rear side interior panels.

2. My rear endlinks look to be too long, even though they are new OEM P5 endlinks. They are causing the oem RSB to hit the 4 link bar thingy. It is supposed to sit above that bar, right? lol.

3. I can't lower the rear much more (barely tucking tire) as the bottom of the threaded shock body will hit the e-brake line.

what about the adjustable ones from like awr or someone??

I know the agency power are MSP length (which is 1.25" LONGER). I have heard too many horror stores of the AWR's getting loose over time, and I am not sure they can go shorter. I'll message AWR though.
