i think hot glue would work?
iono if the engine heat would melt it though.
but its probably the cleanest glue, that you can actually remove if u decide to remove the glue for some reason.

So, i just stole my own car.

The alarm key FOB stopped working, so, i put the key in andI open the door, alarm goes off and siren whales......at 7 AM

I pop the hood and cut the red wire to the siren.....that wasn't it....so i feel around the back for any other wires and find a black wire, that kills the siren, but the lights are still flashing

So, i attempt to put the key in to start and.......nada

So, now that the siren stopped, i have to get under the dashboard to find the alarm box

Takl abuot a PITA!!

I found the box, and found the big harness plug and unplugged it and the car went quiet.

I put the key in, i have power.

There is no WAY i will be able to get that alarm out from under with so many flipping wires tied into everything under there, so, i just left it disconnected but still there

That was fun...........and now i'm 20 minutes late to work

Oh, and on a side note, i went to program the spare stock remote to calile's car for my car and, come to find out, one remote can control both cars

So, I reprogramed both so that the one remote locks and unlocks both cars

You know, there is an alarm "kill" button under the dash somewhere. Also, your alarm went off when you unlocked the door using the key? Did you unlock the car fromt the passenger side? My alarm will disengage if I use the key on the driver side door lock but not on the passenger side. Weird...

he has an aftermarket viper alarm I believe.

yeah, it's a stupid Viper

And I unlocked the driver's side with the key and it gave me 5 seconds before it went off

So, the alarm is all still in the car, but, just disconnected under the dash.

I hated that thing from the start anyways, so, hooray for stock keyless entry again!!

Oh, and reprogramed the remote so it works on both Pro5's. So, don't need to carry 2 different remotes anymoer!!

so the stock remote can be programed for 2 cars? or your viper remote?

Stock remote. The car programs to the remotes frequency, not the other way around

I had a remote to Callie's and i wanetd it for mine instead, so, i did the key 3 times and door button 3 times and pushed the remote button

Callie's car still flashed as did mine.

So, i shut my door, let it cycle, then unlocked it and both cars unlocked, then i pushed lock and both cars locked


So, i reprogrammed both Callie and I's remotes so that each of our remotes works on both cars


AND, not having a car that auto locks 10 seconds after you shut the door is FTMFW!!!!
