What have you done to your P5 today?

I've never been successful with that. Even using the tools that are SUPPOSED to take those things off. Then again, I've only tried a couple times.

Good tire store can get them off without a key or damage to rims. This was yesterday but her goes anyhoo........Did the DG dash panel thing over the glovebox in silver to match gauge bezel, radio bezel, door lock panels, etc. complete with MP5 badge. Not sure if I like it tho, big change, might be over the top. Will post up pics in another thread.

local NTB quoted me $25 a wheel, which i'd rather not pay unless i have to. i picked up one of those 'emergency' removal kits (requires an impact wrench, which hubby and our neighbour have) so i'm hoping that works.

i know the wheel lock kit i bought was a mcgard one, even though i got it at the dealership. how would i be able to get another key for it? i obviously don't have the original packaging or any sort of code/serial numbers for it...

I did it when I lost the key to the stock MSP wheel locks and I had an autox event to get to. It worked but I still have some craftsman sockets that I need to get the lugnuts out of and take back to sears.

I hate stupid theives. This is how it works. It's probably a kid, or kids. Eitherway, they are new to stealing things. Once they go from just trying doors, they will graduate to breaking in. Anyway, since they took your wheel lock and garage door opener I don't know WTF they were thinking. Hopefully they are stupid enough to come back with those items and you can see them and catch a suspicious person in the act. Then shoot them in the head and sprinkle crack on them.

I installed the driver side SU MM in today! Full set of solid mm in a auto and vibrations arn't bad at all imo on the auto.

solid MM?! No bushing material at all? Last I checked, the SU mounts weren't solid by a long shot.

Sorry to hear Andrea.....a very odd robbery considering what they took and what they left behind. I would keep a watchful eye out in case they try to come back and steal your wheels now that they have the key. As for a replacement try this http://www.mcgard.com/search/default.aspx?PrimNavID=1&NavID=8 Just put Mazda in for the make and the only year range available is 85-07. At least you can match up your current locks to the photos.

No one makes true solid motor mounts for our cars. So the next best thing is SLS, AWR, and Steet Unit motor mounts.

This is what I installed.

I'm pretty sure by solid he means no holes in the bushing material (unlike holey stock mounts).

Correct

my baby was violated on the weekend :( she was parked in the driveway and somehow was left unlocked, so thankfully there's no damage to the car. bastards took the garage door opener (which has since been reprogrammed), my little baggie with a few tools and my wheel lock key (VERY pissed about that) from the glovebox, and my custom sub box and sub. they didn't touch the HU though, which kind of baffles me. also took some stuff from our neighbour's jeep, which was also unlocked (xm satellite radio, and a couple other small, easy to grab items).

all in all, could have been a lot worse, but as it is i'm pissed; not so much that they took my stuff, but at the whole inconvenience and aggravation of the situation. especially because i now have to cross my fingers and hope that i can get the wheels off the car without damaging them or breaking something. wish me luck on that...

That sucks, Andrea! I'm sorry to hear the bad news...at least they didn't do anything to the car itself!

note to everyone, robbery's suck. that's two in a week! although my car was locked and they happened to break the damn window. is it worth it getting some kind of security system. we have an alarm and all but i don't know what it actually does?

we don't really have an alarm. we have a keyless doorlock remote with a panic button if you fall down near your car and can't get up. you can buy a factory alarm from mazda which has a shock sensor, but prolly the best thing would be to get an aftermarket alarm...or at least a blinking red light to put somewhere on the dash lol

im so confused on what plugs to get... i did some searches, and i came up with

NGK BKR5E-11

im also gonna clean my maf and see if my idle will finally stop terrorizing me at stoplights
