Not sure why, but I like the true red as well....:) GL with your hunt, but it will be sad to see your P5 go.

Thanks, yup will be very sad to see her go. But the way this search is going, it won't be for awhile

nice! I love the B&M/kartboy setup...I have that on my p5. Get lots of comments on it when I let anybody borrow the car to run an errand or whatever (which is rare :)) How did the hangers go in? Was the install pretty easy?

So far I love it too!

Actually, the hangers went in fairly well this time (I did the 2 by the muffler earlier). The pair of 10mm definitely go up front, and a big set of pliers and some lithium grease did the trick! If I do my exhaust this summer they are going to be a b**** to get back off though

pbblaster/wd40 + a long wrench to pry them off will help you get them off in seconds.

My brother in law has one of those Exhaust hanger removal tools. If you go to do the exhaust let me know, maybe we can hook up and I can borrow it from him.

I just gave my car a bath. With the bright lights on the front of the garage and on the back of the house, I had lighting on every side of the car except the driver's side.. so I just did it by touch :P

when my stock wheels are clean I really like them a lot.. but the summer wheels should be back on tomorrow after work, along with some tein s-techs (still gotta go rent the spring compressor, should have done that today doh).

Oh and I found a shop in Rochester (an EVO/DSM shop) that carries amsoil 5w30 and 10w30 at lower prices than I paid for royal purple or redline.. under 7 dollars a quart. I gotta go there or call and see if they can special order some amsoil synthetic marine grease so I can load up my grease gun and attach it to my rear sway bar bushings :)

I never did this after installation of my intake either....does it really make a difference? (dunno)
actually it did, i mean this is the first day. but the car picks up a lot faster (probably mostly cuz of the fact that its runnin really rich and my gas mileage is blowin majorly) but yea it seems to make a difference, intake sounds different now too, sounds meaner.

think i should try and put one up on 26" rims?... hahaha... i could raise it up hella much and it would look like a monster car... hahaha... maybe do hydraulics too... has anyone done this yet?

oh lord....

I saw an old VW Cabrio up on 20s the other day. It brought a tear of sadness to my eye. And then I puked.

but seriously... u think 17s fill out the wheel wells good enough, or should i fit 18s?... i think 18s r gonna be too big... i wanna make sure i get some good tires to match though... i don't wanna have nice wheels with crappy tread

Clear siliconed the damn gauge cluster lense in a few places due to the mind knumbing stupid noise that sounded like a loose screw bouncing around under the dash on some metal support. The stereo kept it from driving me crazy......barely. Went ahead & cleaned the foggy ass streaked inside of the windshield too. Not sure why I just can't get to that more often.
