What have you done to your P5 today?

so after 10 weeks, I DROVE HER! She stumbled a little right when I craked her, but a little throttle cured that. Probably from the gas just sitting for so long. I must have posted this like 10 times so far:

After driving that damned rental impala for 10 weeks, Ol' Blue on stock suspension (changing soon ) feels like a freakin go kart

I <3 her

I will soon have the same feeling myself. I haven't driven my P5 since July 15th the day I hit the guard rail.

dave-looks good, did you have to modify the wiper arm hole at all? I remember reading in the mod post about shaving the hole a little. does it work better then the P5's?

I actually meant to give you credit but forgot. Yeah....your grill was my inspiration. It looks sooooo much better than the small mesh that comes w/ grill.

Yeah I used a (what we call at work) step bit. You have to open the hole of the big plastic washer a good bit. You will probably have to dremel like cable43's how to shows. His picture is a good representation. As I said it was very easy.

That sucks to see that. Hopefully the person that hit you doesn't have Farmers insurance. They took a month to pay for my accident.

Now that you have to rebuild the rear end have you thought about shaving the rear emblems?

After waking up an hour and 15 minutes late, I threw on clothes, brushed my teeth, hopped in her and hauled ass to the ATL region auto-x at Turner Field. Actually made it in time (good thing I built fudge room into my plan lol). Co-drove RacerXGirl's MSP on Avon TechR R-comps. 1st time autocrossing a Mazdaspeed, first time autocrossing on R-comps. Let me just say, the combination is absolutely stunning

Then drove Ol' Blue back to the appt. Awesome day ftw!
