What have you done to your P5 today?

I couldn't agree with you more :D I know they are heavy as sin, but they look so damn good... I highly doubt I will ever get rid of them.

The only thing I might do at some point is change the colour to, say, bronze?? I've always loved the look of bronze rims on the midnight blue. Anyone good at photoshop? I'd be curious to see what RH's look like in bronze.
Yeah they are VERY heavy but I haven't really noticed any sort of negative impact yet. I just noticed that the wheels look really interesting at night - almost makes them look deeper than they really are with the shadows.

I have thought about getting them powdercoated - I was thinking of trying to do gloss black with the lip left silver and the lettering left silver but I'm not sure how that would look. If anyone could photochop that I'd greatly appreciate it. But yeah, bronze does look good with blue, as well as with red, but that's not the scheme I'm going for. All I need now is a '03.5 MSP lip and my major exterior mods are done.

On another note I have decided to go ahead and buy an MSP ECU. Project BoostedMagnumP5 has begun...

did not drive her today; took the jetta and filled her up. over 26 MPG with AC on 100% time and all city driving! better than the P5 and has more ballls!

Morrigan desperately needs a proper bath - she hasn't had one in about 6 weeks (I know, I know... several extenuating circumstances) - so hopefully I will have a chance for that on Sunday.

However, this week she did receive two presents:

1. Tuesday, waiting for me at home - A new set of fog lights (courtesy of Yesiownaskyline) with screws that actually come out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This means I can put my yellow luminics in these ones, put them on the car, and put the ones currently on the car (with one completely stripped screw each) into storage. :D

2. Today, delivered to work - A nearly complete set of 03 MSP seat skins (courtesy of mryeller). Just have to get a couple pieces to complete this, and take it to the upholsterer to swap over. I plan to bolster the driver's seat - lateral and lumbar mostly, maybe a bit in the seat itself; previous owner must have been a larger gentleman as it's always felt a bit 'sat out' - at the same time. Hopefully that will all happen before Christmas. :)

LoL! You're the new owner of my P5's fogs! Of course the screws come out - they were hangin' with the SoCal endlink! Yesiownaskyline still owes me a filler switch.

Talk about a small world... the one screw in each of my fogs came out no problem, but the other is loc-tighted in (pissed) Anyhow, your fogs now have the 3M on them (to protect from chips/cracking), and should be going onto my car sometime in the next week or two (don't know if I'll have time before vacation on Tues to get them swapped). I'll send you pics when I have :)

Filler switch, as in what? Because I have the brackets and the stock switch in the box - and no use for them. If you want them, they're yours, just let me know.

if all goes well, today after work I should be hand washing the car for the first time at my new place.. I actually have a hose now!!! weeeeeee

^^ being without a hose really isn't that bad.. if anything I really conserved on water because I had to carry it down in buckets. I used ProtectAll Quick & Easy wash (QEW) which you don't need to rinse with. You just wash and dry :) Supposedly you only need to use 2 quarts of water to wash a car with it too, but I would usually use 2 gallons and then have a 4 gallon bucket of just water to rinse sponges with.

Good luck with the tint. the meet in a couple/few weeks should be good. Gotta get the cars in tip-top shape :) my car goes under the knife this weekend, getting it painted by some random guy for a crazy low price :D

Last night I gave my "new" P5 its first oil change. Once you get the car on jacks, the drain plug is really easy to get to. The oil filter on the other hand is a pain in the butt to get to. I was afraid I was going to spill oil all over my arm once I got it off, but suprisingly I didn't. I guess I let the oil drain long enough so there wasn't much left in the filter. This weekend it's getting new spark plugs.

work sent me to texas for 2 weeks, been a week so far and i'm having a breakdown. i need some zoom. I been driving a chevy HHR and it sucks ass. BTW I was driving around willowbrook just north of houston and saw a spicy yellow msp wooshing through trafic (first)

Yup...another oil change here as well. Also repainting my custom wind splitter since the tow guy F'd it up.

In the garage right now installing the rear strut bar I picked up last winter.........bout damn time I guess......

I installed a new passenger-side mirror last night. When I bought the car last week, it had been hit in a parking lot and never fixed. It's a really simple installation, the hardest part was getting the door panel off. I need to go back in there and put some locktite on the bolts holding it on, and when I do I'll take some pictures and try to make a How-To.
