What have you done to your P5 today?

im going to buy new wheels for the p5....rota d2's in black!

... and an AutoEXE replica spoiler?!?!? :D :D :D oh wait the wheels could be transferred over to the ms3.. damnit haha.

Oh yeah in case anyone missed it, click the link in my sig to see the group buy for a replica of the AutoEXE rear spoiler for the Protege5. $250 dollars is the target price, which is a great savings over buying it from AutoEXE. Get on the GB!! :D

Awesome wheels, especially black. I was planning on going with those as well until I got a good deal on some Racing Hart's and tires. I think I kind of regret getting the Racing Hart's now that the D2's are "on sale" but that will probably change once I get them on my car. Pics will be up once I get them on...

3-wheel action is so freakin fun. My car does it quite a bit, and I'm just running tokico HPs with the MSP rear sway lowered on goldline springs. I actually left my car parked overnight on 3 wheels because the parking area in front of our summer condo is angled just enough to get her on 3.

I took some pics but then of course my 2GB SD card for my cam broke.. piece of crap.
Yeah it's funny when people are in the back seat & it does it & they freak out. Those damn SD/Mini SD things, had one dump a gig of wma's off my pPOD (Verizon Vcast phone) but just went to Verizon store & they swapped it out & I reloaded. Harder f'ing when they are pics tho. ON TOPIC: got MSP engine cover thang & working on scoring the valve cover/mounts.

Hey I am looking to get new tires, mine are nearly bald, any suggestions? I have a p5 with stock 16's

Yokahama AVS ES 100
Get the 205/45/16 a little lower profile and a little wider. I have them on my stock rims and have had no issues with them. As soon as my NITTO 555 wear out I'm going to get the Yoko's for my 5-Zigen rims. I like the Yoko's better than the NITTO's.

i suggest toyo proxes 4, real good tires, to bad i have new rims andtires and kant use the toyos anymore

I second that! I love my toyo proxes 4s. Great tire!

MyBlueBaby - I am running on Toyo Proxes TPT's 195/50/16 and like them. Stick to the road like crazy and good in the rain to boot. I will need new tires soon also and have been shopping (the TPT's run about $100 or so).

rednecks_r_us - Will have to research these two...how good is the wear on those Nittos? I had the 460's on my Jetta (14 inch) and loved every aspect of them.

Also GL with the insurance company and getting her back on the road.

Bought a jumbo sunshade from Autozone. According to the back jumbo fits all Proteges 95+! :bs: I put it in the window and the thing wont even unfold all the way. Now I gotta stop on my way home to return.

Got screwed over by Mazda today for the intake manifold recall.............Does that count ?
that sucks... what excuses did they give?

bluebaby - everyone's going to have different opinions (as you can tell :) ). if you can still get them, i really like my falken fk-451; great traction wet and dry, and so far they seem to be wearing decently. best of all, unlike with a lot of higher performance tires, i don't notice any noise from the tires.

redneck - hope they quite giving you the runaround so you can get 'er back on the road where she belongs!

basically just that my VIN isn't in the recall range. Kinda sux. As long as the block is OK then I'll be allright. If the cylinder is messed up then I have some overtime to go work.............

Are you looking for summer only or something that you can use in snow/ice like some all seasons?
