only 4 hours??? (peep)

i shouldn't talk - morrigan hasn't been washed/waxed/etc going on 3 weeks now. first vacation, and now this damn infernal rain that won't stop (pissed) plus, i'm still waiting for the rest of my detailing supplies to arrive...

a word of warning, DON'T TALK TO A DETAILER!!!!!! when i got home from visiting mr. detailer last week, i promptly started my computer and placed an order for i *think* around $250 worth of detailing supplies (omg) and that's to kind of round out the other $200 i ordered earlier this year, and the pc (porter cable, $115) i purchased when i was in town!!!!! once everything arrives, i'll post pics - both of my new arsenal and my car, before and after.

Installed Brembos and new pads in the front. Rears will be on tomorrow. Very easy install. Oh so tiny in 18's...hehe.

Well today I didn't do too much with my P5 yet, but yesterday I drove from my apartment in Rochester to Toronto where I spent the day with a friend. Around 7pm we headed east and just got to our hotel room in Montreal a few minutes ago. It was such a blast! So many proteges :) :) (canada)

looking good josh!! i'm thinking about doing the "big" brake upgrade for the fronts...i've seen them for as low as 500, but i think that was only 13" rotors....anyway i like what you've done!

Thanks Mark. Natty's Blue FTW! Did you purchase the package deal with the PoorBoy's? It all smells like bubblegum to me. Here's just some of the supplies. I ordered bigger cutting pads, polishing pads, microfibers, and poloishing cloths after the pic was taken.

i'm really tempted by ken's bbk for front and rear - i need something that will fit under my 15" steelies for the winter, but fill up the space left by the rh's in summer. besides, with my eventual plans, better stopping power is always good :D

oh dear... that's nothing compared to what i'm going to have. i'd say by the time i get all my stuff, i'll probably have 2-3x what's in your picture

clearkote vanilla moose wax and red moose wax; klasse aio; klasse sealant glaze; wolfgang deep gloss sealant; four star ultimate paint protectant; plastx; p21s gel; opti-clay, fine grade; 303 wiper treatment and washer tablets, and cleaner; quick and easy wash; zaino starter kit (bought last summer; love it!)

7 blue and 7 yellow mf's; 4 riptide ww's; 1 monterey ww; 1 bug scrubber; various flannel rags (for interior/under hood/wheels only); 1 turbo palm (for holding the pads while working by hand); 2 blue, 2 green, 1 orange and 1 yellow pad (for the pc); 5 yellow foam applicators; 3 cotton applicators; 4 mf applicators; 3 washmitts; grit guard; car duster; 5 spray bottles (of various sizes for the different concentrations of cleaners); porter cable random orbital polisher

umm.... i think that's it (shocked)

Wow...you plan on working on more than one car? That's all I needed to get my job done, and most of it is for my Acura. The P5 is perfect.

It finally stopped raining and got warm enough to accomplish a couple of tasks. First was a good wash and secondly I was finally able to paint my bumper lights. (alright)

More to come.....

Took it out this afternoon and LOVE the sound. Very nice tone and not very loud on the highway.

And please excuse the dirty underside.

^^First of all, tint your third brake light... I plan to.

In regards to the subject, I am getting my ass kicked by my endlinks.. I got it to spin, but it seems I am not making progress... tips, suggestions, fly to Alaska and do it for me?

well.. its not exactly today.. its more like yesterday.. i had it washed before the prom, after prom it was still shiny as hell... we then went to niagra falls.. not even one day passed.. and when we came back it was dirtier then when it was before i washed it

haha, no just planning to work on my car - and maybe my parents, sister, etc. the poorboys polishes are sample size only which should hopefully be enough. i bought my p5 used, and while it's not severe, there is some swirling, holograms, and oxidation that does need to be taken care of.

anyone know if you can only apply the plastx by hand to the headlights, or if you can use it with the pc?
