What have you done to your P5 today?

(poke) i was thinking this was probably a more "positive thread", one where we talked in more positive terms about how we are modding our cars and the like??

The title doesn't specify anything particular...

I did finally change the oil in it today, the wife washed it and started to clean out the interior.

Happy now?

Bought a new head unit... Installing it Tuesday. Installing Subs & Amp sometime in the next couple weeks. (alright)

installed chrome coolant catch can and attempted to get my MEgan exhaust to stop shifting over and hitting rear bumper...well see what happens (cheers)

I've tried adjusting the damn hangers more times than I can count and mine STILL likes to move right back against the bumper. If you figure something out, let me know!!

I'm putting my summer wheels/tires back on! I'm sure the gods of Lake Ontario will smite me for it but I don't care. It's like 60 outside and I can't tolerate the cornering ability of Blizzak WS-50s in this weather.

put big wide zipties on the hangers to prevent the bushings from moving around. Are you on stock bushings or kartboy bushings? Either way it should help, on the kartboy bushings of course the exhaust won't move up or down at all but it slides side to side on the hangers.

(mswerd) I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago... My neighbors give me s*** for swapping wheels when it gets nice out, but I miss being able to take corners fast.

also, snow tires wear down fast when the roads are dry.

The only real problem by me is salt.

I put new spacers in on my heat shield and put a couple of extra screws in to kill the horrible sounds coming from it.

Tomorrow, rear brake pads.

Is this your first winter in Rochester? Being a native central NYer, I suggest that you not take off the snows. You have at least 2 more months of having to deal the potential snow.
