What have you done to your P5 today?

blacked out the headliner last night. While I was at it, I blacked out all the pillars and the rear window pillar thingies.

Car smells very cancer causing but it at least looks good :D I'll take pics tomorrow.

Also ordered the JDM tails that I get as a birthday present :D

^^^ Can't wait to see pics. This is something I've contemplated doing because I've already blacked-out all my interior trim pieces.

JDM tails = +10 hp

I want em so bad. Where did you get them from?

How did you black out the headliner? Spraypaint?

My car smells cancer causing too cause it still smells like gas. :(

I'm going to work on fixing my fog light today. Gonna try to tape it up, and fill the whole with something. Glue or whatever I find that hardens clear. Then sand it down and hopefully it will patch it up.

Haha you're the one that let gas spill all over your car aren't you. lol

I got the JDM tails new from corksport since it was my birthday

The headliner was done with the vinyl and fabric spraypaint. Duplicolor I believe. 2 cans were just enough. You might wanna get a third to touch up some spots but mine looks perfect to me.

Here are some pics I took. Tell me what ya think :D

Took and hour and swapped out the blown front struts for Tokico Blues.
So much nicer to have parts that work.

Ummmm... No comment.

I only see the tails on Corksport too.

Just repainted a rear bumper protector i bought off a member that had turned grey. I'll be putting it on wife's car as soon as she gets home

Damn... I wanna do that to mine to :) It looks TERRIFIC (cool)

Am I jackin it right?

Sorry for the noob like post here.

I plan on taking off my broken fog and front wheels.

I just bought all of the tools needed and have never jacked my car up before.

Are these the proper spots? The manual was no help and I searched and found some info, but few pics.

She can fly!

Thanks for the help and comments and laughter that I'm sure will follow.

LOL... Nope those aren't the proper points for the jacks... lower her slowly before you damage your floor board

Theres a little ball looking thing with a hole in the middle in the front behind the bumper close to the center... that's a safe place to jack from the front. from the side you missed it... it right there... you can see it in the last picture right where those two bolts are and a little more to the left... you can tell its a jack point cuz it looks a little indented/damaged. Its the same for the other side.

I tried using the ball thing, but that wouldn't get it high enough to get the wheels off the ground. So where do I jack, and where would the stands go then.

Spot 1 is next to the bolts, on the flat area.
Spot 2 is on the rail like area.
(seems too flimsy on the rail area like that, but what do I know.)

the ball thingy in the front is a good jack point in the front
that is a problem not being able to get the car high enough to put the stand under the correct spot 2... you could possible put some ply board under the jack and a block of wood on top of the jack to get it high enough to put both jack stands under the car
Spot 2 is the correct Jack Point
you can jack there and still have enough room to put the stands

Thanks bud. Very easy and it cures the mod bug for a day lol.

It really looks nice... im gonna do it someday... lucky you found a temporary cure :)

So, jack the rail huh.

I searched this dang place and found nothing that simple.

Thanks all... hopefully I won't be so noob anymore.

I've learned from the jacking experts!
