What have you done to your P5 today?

LOL it'd be a pretty big mess if they didn't tighten them after taking the wheels off. So sure...re-tightening. Ok.

well from my understanding after you get new wheels is that you need to retighten all the lugs after a few days. I'm not to sure how true this is but it couldnt hurt.

I don't think it counts if they take them all the way back off. Just get a torque wrench, set to 80, and re-check them everytime someone you don't know touches your junk.

i torque everything down when someone touches my junk. dunno how effective it is, as my junk is in my pants, and my torquey things are on the car, but it seems to work

I always go home and loosen them with a breaker bar and then re-tighten them by hand with a moderately large wrench. Then I drive around the block and hand tighten again. The purpose of this is that if I ever have to change my own tire I don't want to have to worry about not being able to get the lugs off because they were tightened with an air wrench and I don't have a huge bar or my air tools with me on the side of some road.

I would never use an air gun on my shizz. Eeeek.

My wheels are torqued to 90. I learned that you wanna be in the 90-100 range.

No?

I also learned that you want to re-torque after about 100 miles after you take wheels off and put them back on.

with a torque wrench? Air gun != torqued.

no kidding, I think a torque wrench isn't necessary...

90 pounds is about all the force I can muster, my Impact wrench is rated for 300ft/lbs I think,

Of course I don't have a torque wrench, maybe that is my biggest reason for thinking that it isn't necessary

LOL, where did you get that Mazda first aid kit? Haven't seen that before.

Car looks great as always Bill (2thumbs)

I washed, cleaned, and clay bar the car for about 4 hours. I am going to try to keep the car as clean as possible until tomorrow when I can hit the roof with the clay bar one more time and then wax. And hopefully get pictures.

Washed the wheels... my RPF1s were turning into custom gunmetal RPF1s on the front thanks to brake dust.
