What have you done to your P5 today?

if you had it on the box how did you paint underneath? flip it later or what?

lol, I think I ended up hanging it somewhere. You can get most of it without flipping it over.

okie. i ordered one can of daytona yellow and one can of clear (both duplicolor high heat). it was like 15 and some change w/ shipping. so when it gets here time to paint away!

well i decided not to paint the calipers...b/c i have the stock rims u cant really see them so i figured its not worth it. i just got new tires too b/c my others should not have been driven on for a while... (oops) and i HAD to get them. so i guess i wont get rims on this car. maybe next time!

Had a meet with Crazee D for MPI install (done), and UDP install in his P5. Took my baby on the highway, running very smooth. I'm sure going to miss her.

I did mine silver, they look nice and clean now. My car is silver so it matches as well, doesnt stand out at all, i like it.

Finally, less talk, more pics!

STB painted semi-flat black (has a satin sheen), brackets= orange

Well....................pulled off the Racing Beat today...............then headed back to Chicago for the next week and a half. Probably gunna pull the header off when I get back home.............. Getting really tired of the drone on the highway. Not sure if I am gunna sell everything yet or not....................

Nice! Did you use your stock valve cover or a 626 one? Pics without the MSP valve cover on pls :D Notice any performance difference?
Neither, I have the MSP valve cover & did the boot trim thing on 2 & 4. Also modified the engine cover so the plug wires had access for routing. Zipping open the wiring harness to the fuel injection to snake out the coil wires & tape all back up nice was real fun. It seems noticeably smoother idling & doesn't seem to require the same amount of gas pedal to get things done either. Still have only driven 45 miles or so since resetting ecu so we'll see on the performance/mileage aspect but so far very good. Forgot to take pics of the open wiring harness & uncovered valve cover.

You could have just pulled the header off and left the racing beat.. the racing beat alone doesn't drone at all, it's only slightly louder than the stock exhaust.

Snow is coming and might be off to Halifax NS this weekend. Might be time to put the snows back on.

I wish winter would make it up it's mind.

I agree...I just put my snow tires on Saturday. Im glad that maybe i'll be able to stretch them out through one more winter after this though.
