What have you done to your P5 today?

Update: SHE LIVES!!!

new spark plug wires FTW. When I was pulling the sparkcos off the center pin electrode thing for my #2 cylinder fell off the wire. .. stupid crap solder job sparkco ARGHA RGHARGHARGH

Now I have some random no name 5mm wires.. they fit in the little holders on the coil packs again lol!

Anyone think there's any chance the water was introduced into my oil? I picked up a case of Royal Purple since I finally found a place that sells it, but I need to take my oil drain pans to get properly recycled somewhere before I can change my oil again.

I should go for a drive now, my car deserves it :) I hope I didn't do any permanent damage with all the misfiring and such.

This weekend ... time for rear motor mount inserts, cleaning the air filter, and while I have things apart maybe I'll clean the EGR again.

yay!!!!! :) i don't think you caused any permanent damage...you would want to drive it like that for a few days though....

With the new spark plugs I can't at all notice my worn rear motor mount :) They are just NGK V-powers, BK5R-11 or something like that.

the plugs I pulled out were a ZFR6-11 or somethin? maybe the heat was 6 on the new ones and 5 on the old, I dunno. Weird.

you going to leave it on all winter....?
not sure... what would you advise? it is untreated aluminum and the engine bay can get pretty cruddy in winter.

Glad to hear you got her up and running Chris.

Looks Great Andrea....I would advise to take it off for the winter months so it doesn't get ruined.

For me today.....nothing but a commute to and from work.

I was nice enough to keep her, though I just spent all the money I had been saving for a new engine and other parts. (pissed)
I put my down payment on a black mica Speed3 GT edition (headbang) this afternoon and decided not to trade my baby off because I love my P5.
Now the P5 will have to share the garage.

Drove it by the Mitsu dealer on the way to and from work and stared at another black beauty. I think I'll be swinging by on Monday for a test drive and some number crunching... (peep)

evo huh nice choice when the rims come off? how much you want for them?

*sigh* anyone want to buy a car on my behalf???

everything that needs to be confirmed/taken into consideration for customs, registration, etc, has been taken care of but due to the nature of the seller's job, he will not sell to a non-us citizen. this is my only obstacle to getting the car.

so yeah, any takers? :)

won't sell to a non-us citizen? that's really weird, what's up there??
not sure entirely, but he's adamant about it. will only sell to a us resident, who has to then register the car in their name to totally remove any ties of him to the car. then i can buy it no problem... :(

do you have emissions laws?

<--Used the varible speed driving and random hard braking to keep some SUV's off my ass on the way to work.

Chris, glad to see things are all worked out. I also just have to mention it again. Your hood looks killer !! Just awesome man...........
