What have you done to your P5 today?

Got the dash kit and RCA splitter in before Amy had to go to work... gave up on figuring out the remote start since apparently she won't allow me to work on my own car (long story and very sensitive subject right now) so maybe sometime in the warmer future I can get a chance to get the RS working, but right now I just give up... I should let her run the car into the ground just so I can cuss her out about it and have her buy me a new motor.
 
Installed my front tokicos finally and also fixed an exhaust leak with some high temp silicone. I love my car all over again
 
Got my tire's on my rim's and balanced lil stretch to them nothing serious love the way it turned out.Just waiting for my coils now will get my fender's rolled this weekend.

Looks good dude and def. different! Can't wait to see some pics once you get them mounted on the car and also must say that you have a lot more patience than me. lol

There was a FS thread that was like a year old so I figured what the hell, I'll give it a shot. And sure enough he still had them sitting on a shelf.

That's because Gary's awesome and will hook people up.
 
And me too...for both the P5 and wifes 3i.

Filled the tank and then a trip thru the car wash. So good to see her clean. Can't wait until it's warm enough so I can get the hose out and wash her up proper. Also contemplated swapping the hoods this weekend vs. waiting for Spring.
 
Once I finish my projects and get dynoed im going to start on a fog delete cover that has an intake port.

Other than that nothing else going on. finished my exhaust but i dont know when im going to put that on. I cant find the gasket that goes between the two pipes on the 626 long tube headers.

on another note pulled a flashing cel p0300...wow, thought the car was going to explode...possible issues...endless...egr, plugs, coils...other electronic,s mechanical, even tranny (auto) you name it...so i drive under a very lean condition for a mile (fuel pressure could be the issue as well?), pull over in my mechanics lot..just in case, get out car is idling like it's got a vac leak, do a quick visual, no issues with intercooler clamps and the like (had those before)...everything looks normal....get back in the car, reset the code reader/clear the code...comes back right back...ok i'll head home now take the day off if i have to and figure this out, pull out of the parking lot...car is driving fine, no issues...give it a little gas..take right off reset the code reader...light goes out...drive all the way home, no problem...do a visual again, jack the front end up check the silicone couplers..all's good, get back and drive to work 40 miles, drives great????
edit: i do have a bad egr (cel for that that comes on every morning) so it's looking like a bad egr that get's stuck...my thoughs

Quite possible. I'm highly shocked I've never had issues with my EGR on my car.

Thanks for talking some sense into me! Just with the past few sunny days I've been getting the itch but with my luck I'll get it on, we'll get two feet of snow and it will get blasted with salt on the highway on my drive to work....

Good to hear the car is running ok...maybe it was that stern look you gave those couplers? You know the one you'd give your kids to stop acting up....or else. lol

Same here...no EGR issues or bearing issues....wait....knocks on wood.....ok.
