What have you done to your P5 today?

Yes, I have MSP fronts/rears on my car...they were the same, but when I replaced them the new ones had less miles then what was on the car...

??? I thought there were issues with the ebrake cable when using the MSP calipers in the rear? Or am I thinking of a different swap??? Damn...getting old sux.

The ebrake issue is the swap to the 6's brakes. I know that. he is running my old MP3 calipers on his P5 right now and I do not know a differance between the MP3 and MSP rears. Fronts are a different story....

msp rears > mp3 rears. mp3's have the exact same brakes as p5

Oh I see. I don't think my rear calipers are bad because I can easily adjust the allen key with no issues. Any idea what the issue could be? After a few weeks I lose the initial stiffness that I have in my brake pedal, all caliper bleeder nipples are fully tightened and the brakes were bled correctly. Maybe my master cylinder or brake booster?

Ok....I got the two confused.

sounds like you still have a pinhole somewhere. I'd honestly get ss lines. brakes and clutch lines, see if that stops the problem. worse case you'll have significantly better brake feel

Oh I'll give that a shot. And if it's not the brake lines? Is the master cylinder normally a problem after 7-8 years? And the brake booster?

Good advice but not what I was expecting. lol

yes. they can leak, the seals can go bad. lots of panic stops on old parts is never super great. thats just the largest pita ever to do so i'm trying to find you the cheap things that could be it lol

woah woah woah no. the msp rears are much bigger. yes the calipers bolt on, WITH rotors and pads

Yes, when I switched, I switched everything...the swap I bought had rotors/pads for front/rear...looking at the rear calipers though, they look to be the same size...the fronts however are quite larger...

Started to give my P5 its first deep down clean, starting with the interior. This is the first time I ever took the back (spare tire cover) out to vacuum and realized my car came with the factory sub, but I didn't get it when I bought the car.

Just curious... were the wires ran on all 03's regardless if the sub was installed or did the previous owner not put it back in?
