What have you done to your P5 today?

i was getting ready to put the stockers back on as well --- i need new tires but dont have the funds at the moment, so the almost bald stockers go back on :(

Thanks guys. I have my Thunder header (just received) sitting in my office at work. I am waiting on MAM mid-pipe and RB catback - both just ordered. I figure I might as well do it all at once. Hopefully before they get here I will order the udp. I am excited about the gains, however small they may be. I think it's going to be cool doing it all at once instead of one piece at a time. Thanks again for the info.

I rolled the car out of the garage for a quick recent engine pic, then rolled it back in, did not even start it. Cleaned it up a bit more.

Damn thats clean! Great job Josh. I love the valve cover.

Thanks bro. Actually, I'm just borrowing the cover from CrazeeD cause' I sold it to him many months ago. I'm going to refinish the clearcoat on it because it started to crack a bit from the heat.

(omg) Looks fantastic. Wish my engine bay looked like that. Of course after my 40 mile commute 5 days a week and various in-town trips scattered throughout it wouldn't stay that way too long.

Great attention to detail! Is that a cf fuse box?

Doing it all at once is an awesome idea, because you'll definitely notice it. I do everything incrementally because I always install the day I get the product haha.

That valve cover cover kicks ass. I thought those were plastic. Is it just the black factory one painted silver or what?

they look sweet. pics coming tom.
thanks a lot deansweet got a great deal on this rims.

washed my car for the first time in a while, and today is the first day i filled up with 93 octane gas, and WOW going from regular to that, I realized a huuge difference there is no way I'm going back down to regular..

even at 10 cents more, a full tank only costs $1.50 more than regular...
I Always go premium

But your ECU isn't designed to take advantage of the higher octane, so all you are doing is probably getting the combustion to happen later in the cycle... which probably isn't great.

Unless you have an MP3 ECU or have dome some fuel tuning or a turbo, putting high octane in is just wasting your money.

I realize that, but if our ECU can "learn" our driving habits, and "learn" around a FMU, then I think it's possible to "Learn" higher octane

If so, then the MP3 ECU probably wouldn't be so desirable.
