What have you done to your P5 today?

Installed my "new" short shifter. Works like a charm and now can shift with a flick of the wrist. Perhaps a longer flick than an aftermarket shifter but definitely a lot shorter.

Also washed all the dirt and stickiness out of the center console while it was out. Thought about detailing everything it but its too damn cold.

I have the same jack...$100 aint cheap where I come from though :)

lol not cheap as in money I paid 100 bucks also I mean the quality my bolt's came undone front roller wheel locked up just fell apart on me.Maybe the new guy at the plant put mine together I dunno.

Lowered it half an inch more in the front and took the lip off to be repainted...havent been this close to stock in a looong time...need to take a picture buts shes dirty

got flashed highbeams for the second time since the hids. oddly enough, both times were from higher riding suvs...

i want to get some hid high beams and wire them somehow so they are always ready to fire back at a person who flashes me high beams

You adjust them down alil? People did that to me also till I adjusted them.

If you ground the high bean to the car, your low beams will stay on when you flash your high beams, if thats what you were asking for.

Edit: Missed the hid part. lol.

Low beams always stay on with high beams in the P5s.

I finally placed my order for HIDs. I was going to get a 55w kit and get the battery harness with it but I got the slim ballast DDM kit in 35w 6000k without the harness. Now I need to do something with the fogs, i'm not sure if I want to put HIDs in them or not.
We'll see if DDM's shipping is still backed up.

Good choice going with 35w as opposed to 55w, I wish people would see that 55w is completely useless in 99% of cars.

And you should just save up for a retrofit, anyway (look at sig). ;)

Trust me, your new setup is SICK but I can barely afford to throw the 60 I just spent at the car, plus I just dropped 130 on a new set of tails because one got broken while my car was parked. I wanted the 55w just because nobody else has them, but i'm sure the 35w will be plenty. I can't wait to get them in.

Now my dilemma is whether or not to black out the headlights. My stock lights are in really good shape and the lenses are very clear, I would hate to mess them up or have the paint fade after a short while.
