^+2.... I have to agree they look sportier with the rack on...

I like my rack in the winter and I have my air deflector covered in stickers..... In the summer i prefer to have it off. Less noise. But mine is easy on and off here in canada. I would like to have a US roof rack but don't have the funds for such frivolous expenditures.

I agree...I have actually used mine many times to haul fridges/couches/lumber...

i also have a standard thule rack from my civic which fits the p5 well so i dont need to buy a new fit kit. when hauling bikes on the factory rack, any bump and i would hear creaking making me un easy. plus i had to mount the biek trays backwards which looked rediculous. now i have a sturdier rack to use, and i can use the fairing and the trays are the correct direction. wooooo

maybe i can do this again

Are they the originals? If you are going to change the fronts, I would change all 4.

Didn't we do the front brakes a couple of Spring clean meets ago?

They are all original so I'll be changing all four corners. Getting part numbers/prices from Jason at OMP.

Yup, brakes were done in April of '07 at the Spring meet. So approx 35k miles on 'em.

Leaving work tonight I fired up the headlights and DS looked yellowish (very similiar to a halogen bulb) flickered and then went out. I turned the lights off/on a couple of times with the same result.

Pulled into the driveway and turned them off/on and wouldn't you know the bulb was lit and didn't flicker.

When leaving to take my daughter to dance, it did the same thing as when I left work.

Pulled into the driveway and turned them off/on and wouldn't you know the bulb was lit and didn't flicker....deja vu.

I'm thinking it's a loose connection but will check tomorrow. If nothing's loose I'll swap ballasts and go from there. And just perfect timing considering Gary announced a couple of weeks ago that he would no longer be working with Techone due to communication issues and such....so much for lifetime warranty.

*edit - left to get my daughter at dance and the light fired right up and worked fine....it's gotta be a loose connection somewhere.
