What have you done to your P5 today?

CLEANED UP HE MOTOR A BIT AND WENT TO AUTOZONE AND BOUGHT THE RED FILTERS.....

SAVING UP FOR A SHORT RAM INTAKE......

How does the car feel compared to the factory airbox? I think I might do this as a cheap upgrade. Basically it's the same as a short ram, I doubt the factory pipe is very restrictive.

except that it's not. Having the filter that close to the MAF introduces a lot of turbulence over the sensor. Having a bit of tube between the inlet and the MAF smooths the air flow leading to better readings and, in general, mo' powa.

That retaining ring that holds the compressor side its a Fen monster...I cant get the damn thing off..

Yup. Thats what I had to do. lol Now I just have to wait for the rebuild kit. Everything looks fine. I wondering how im going to use this on the P5. lol
 
Cleaned it up all pretty... then smacked a piece of re-tread on one of Atlantas many beautiful interstates (note the sarcasm).. broken grille, broken headlamp tab, pushed in bumper, stress cracked paint on the msp lip, scuffed carbon fiber hood.. w00t.

damn that sucks! insurance I hope.
 
With everything that is currently breaking on my car... (rings are shot, trans is trying to kick out of third gear etc) I dont even know if its worth fixing.. Accelerant and a match are looking mighty appealing..

The thing I'm really pissed off about is that I have the reverse cowl carbon fiber hood.. replacing that is impossible... :(

wow motor and trans! ouch.... yeah Id ditch it in all honesty. Its not worth the money unless you came across a totalled car where all that is still good... IE DUb and his p5 that was smacked in the rear for 500 ircc. If your still up for another protege go look for another one all your current parts will transfer over.
