Not really today, but what I did last week.

I installed my JDM Tails

Before

I wanted to leave it like this.

I had no idea I had to remove the trunk trims to install them lol. It was pretty easy though.

^ you dont have to take out the trunk trim... just the little caps and a deep socket wrench...

I forgot to mention that it was a different wiring harness so I had to remove the trim in order to unplug the old wiring harness to put the new one in.

^ my car backfired at one point last winter (long story short, the car doesn't start at temps below 40 degrees) and actually broke the MAF sensor. Two actually as I guess I didn't learn the first time. If you cleaned it though, I'm sure you would have noticed if it was there or not. When I compared mine to a pic on the internet, the entire thing was completely gone, haha...

Is your intake boot in good shape?

Miss-Fire code has to be just that though, right? I wouldn't think a bad intake boot or dirty EGR would cause a miss-fire code, could you have possibly purchased a bad coil pack? I'd suggest pull the plugs and look them over really well, and work your way up from there...

Well...we pretty much figured most of it out today...it ended up being the tube from the intake to the VC which I have never had connected...not even on the other motors that were in here and it never gave me trouble...it is plugged in and now running a TON better...we still believe there to be a tiny leak somewhere though...we are thinking a cracked hose...but it is soooo much better than it was doing which was between 3,000 to like no RPM's...

Can you post or link some more pic's of the back with the diffuser painted? My silver P5 sits up kinda high with 205/50-17's on it and I'm afraid painting mine black will enhance the height, which is not what I want to do.
