What have you done to your P5 today?

there's something wrong with you lol

you havent even gotten your damn projectors.....I call dibs! :p

i'm not talking any time this year

it'd be Jan IF we get a bonus

I'm researching currently. 03-05 G35 sedan or i've been told to also look into E46 or earlier BMW's

I never cared for the G35 sedan and normally G35 coupes are driven by douchebags (there are exceptions)

i looked at the coupe, and it is OH SO SEXY, but, i'll end up having people in the car WAY more than a Coupe would work for me......

I think buying an older Bimmer would probably be a mistake. You'll be the one replacing all the expensive parts and that wont be fun.

kinda what I thought.

From what i've been reading the G's have the Nissan reliability.....but, i havn't owned a nissan, so, i dunno

I know the Sentra SER wasn't the greatest

And if i were to get a G, mods would be limited to retro'd projector headlights and possibly lowering

Nissan reliability is ok, not toyota or honda reliability but not bad. Hmmmmm what else is out there?

I like the G cause it isn't a status car. It's a nice entry level luxury sport sedan

the BMW's, Lexus, Mercedes Etc. all, at least to me, yell I GOT MONEY LOOK AT ME

the G doesnt really stand out, and that's what I like about it

Or, does the G say that too and i'm just foolin myself?

Doing the work yourself is about the same price as Protege parts. Front drive axle on a 325xi ran $125 and took about 3 hours for me to replace it. Taking it to the stealership will kill you.

Some of the E46's are still under CPO warranty so you could get lucky in that instance too. I've ridden along in a mostly stock 330xi at the track and it's a pretty impressive car. I've always had fun driving them too.

yeah but this is tylor, he wont be doing the work himself lol

I have stopped.

I've already paid for the headlights, just waiting for em to show up now

Mods are done, savings have begun

and, i've been working with John (jeg) on working on the cars. We (he) did the suspension install, i've done teh header swap a zillion times (on my own car)

I think Infinitis are still kind of "status" cars, if they werent why not just buy a damn Nissan? lol

reason for no nissan is there isn't a comparable nissan out there

i don't want a 350z, 2 seater sports car

what else do they offer Sentra and Altima? Both FWD.....G35 is RWD and bigger

They are status cars. Very expensive and the ones that are afforable have very high mileage and been beaten to death. I was looking at them as well.

Is the Maxima a RWD platform? I think that would be more in the class of the G35 coupe.
