What have you done to your MSP today?

Have a Sunlight Silver Speed Shell if anyone needs a tub...located Greer, SC...

$150 for it, scrap metal price...tub is in perfect shape...if someone needs it...will be scrapped Mon/Tuesday if no interest...

lag? it's a t25, what is lag? lol
the routing is extremely simple. maybe its the stock intake thats making it look confusing?
theres no more piping than if i would of ran the hot side downwards, well maybe 6-9" more.
but again, it's a t25, the little thing spools at idle. so the difference is negligable.
theres no more lag than the stock smic setup.

I can tell the difference in when I've driven 3 diferent MSP all with 3 inch catless exhaust.. One was a upgraded SMIC, the other had soem werid FMIC setup wtih a core that was much larger then a Perrin, and mine with a Perrin FMIC... all a different amount of lag when i drove them. The one with the SMIC was damn near instant and mine has a slight delay, and the other one with the monster fmic had a little bit longer delay then mine tell it reached 7psi.

Orderd a 626 motor standard emissions so i can try out the long tube runner Intake Mani. w/91k US miles and a 1 year warranty included

went for a drive today and as i was pulling away from my place she started grinding in 3rd gear.. it grinds while driving in third gear, i can coast in neutral in third and its fine. does that sound like shift fork to you guys? all other gears are fine. almost sounds like the gears arent making full contact with each other.

when driving in third gear it almost sounds like driving with a blown turbo, turbine hitting housing kinda sound, but i know its not my turbo.

could be syncros, selector hub, or low on fluid... I would try fluid replacement first.

if it was syncros wouldnt it grind only when i put it into gear? also low fluid wouldnt that affect the other gears as well? i also thought maybe throwout bearing, but again, wouldnt that affect all gears? i really hope fluid does something. god knows i cant afford to swap in another tranny.. turbo and tranny blew on me 2 years ago and i havent gotten it running right since, simply because i never had the extra cash.

I've on my 3rd tranny (2nd diff), 2nd turbo, and god only knows how many suspension bits.

im gonna check my fluid level tomorrow. any other ideas? the tranny only has ~70k, it was replaced 2 years ago with a tranny from someone on the forum here with 60k on it. so its not high mileage. and i drove like a grandma religiously up until recently when i finaly got the car to start working again, so i dont think its due to abuse.

Ugh...the shocks/springs i got are pissing me off...was finishing putting the car together this weekend and noticed the springs werent sitting in the perch correctly. Took them back out and apart and tried to put it all together but couldnt get the damn strut nut tightened down at all...tried pushing down on it and holding the washer at the top and tightening it and that stupid ******* washer ended up spining and wrecking the threads on the strut rod.....**** off...now I have to try to get it rethreaded.

Whats the best way to get that nut tightened down all the damn way? Do I need to compress the spring on the strut then tighten down the nut and top hat all the way?

air or battery powered impact. its the only way i've been able to do it without having the piston turn while tightening. I used a battery powered one for my stock msp suspension, jic suspension when i had to take it apart, and my fortune auto coilovers on the ms3. it worked like a charm.

Yeah, I tried an impact wrench...thats what caused that stupid metal stock metal washer(the one with the flat side thats supposed to keep the piston from turning) to spin and destroy the threads...what a b****....
