What have you done to your MSP today?

i dont post here much, but got my msp dynoed today and put down 225hp at 7lbs!! thats awesome for fsde platform. now adjusting boost controller to 16lbs give or take to put me at around 300hp as a daily :]

just bought a GT3071R. The only thing left is building the engine. Haltech EMS will be here Thursday. It's funny that Im posting this right under Knox Joe's post..lol

well, I think I just found the problem. I didn't find any milky looking coolant or anything plus the car really never overheats. The smoke didn't smell sweet either. So, I took the car out again just now to drive it. Got on it a little bit to spool the turbo up and I had no boost. Also, the normal loud spool I had was completely different than usual. It wasn't loud at all and no matter how much I get on the gas, the boost gauge just sits at zero..lol. So, I pull back into my garage and guess what, the smoke is gone!!!!

Boost leak. Severe boost leak.

It's not a hard swap. Can be done in a weekend for sure. If I were closer I'd say let's do it....as I've pulled protege motors countless times before

I hate wrenching.

Someone with more motivation could have had this done months ago, lol.

I did 2 motor pulls this year alone and will plobably be pulling the motor again next fall

Installed SMIC and WeaponR coolant catch can today along with adjusting Forge WGA to have the correct preload.

It was a nice, easy install, and it made a huge difference over the stock unit.

I polished it up with a fine scuffing pad and some fine steel wool, and now it looks good as new.
