What have you done to your MSP today?

Plus I figure if the tire is going to be 50mm wider than what I was running last year I'l be going faster in the turns which means the rear will tweak out more.

Finally decided on a wheel size for next years autoX :) Just need to save up a little more moola for them. Enkei RPF1's 17"x9" +22 I just can't decide if I want to run 8" or 9" wide wheels in the rear. I either want 275F/R or 275F w/ 255R. Choices hmmm....

I honestly don't see 17's fitting in a 275. You may have to go with smaller wheel to avoid hitting the fenders. The tire still has to rotate side-to-side inside the wheel arches, and with that wide of a tire, regardless of offset, you're going to reach a limit. I would think it would rub the front of the fender for sure, being that tall, and wide of a tire. you can do some simple measurements to find out, but I think you're fighting a losing battle.

245's in 15's would be more than enough grip. I don't know if you've ran with true auto-x R comps, but it is a whole different level, even over roadrace r comps. With mine on the kook c71 in 225's, I was the fastest FWD in my region.

I ran thoughs c71's on 16"s. I'm the fastest in the region, but I'm doing national events next year. I'm making fenders :)

Mainly AWR coilover 600lbF/R, AWR modified rear sway, adjF/R endlinks, and AWR trailing arms.

Ah, gotcha. :)

May have to get a front bumper to hack up as well. I'm interested to see if you can get it to fit.

It's going to be a long process, but I plan on fabbing the bumper, fenders, rear doors (maybe fronts too), rear bumper, and some type or flares for the rear quarters. I have to wait for warmer waether for the resin to cure right and some more $$$ for the Enkei RPF1's and some nice street and track tires to go with them.

I miss driving the MSP. It's just sitting there...

Preaching to the choir! My car has been sitting at my work for two weeks now. I had the rim refinished about a month ago when I had the rear bumper resprayed because the car was backed into. Anyway the clearcoat on the rim bubbled so the insurance company is paying to have it redone and its been to three different wheel places in town and nobody can do a halfway decent job so they are buying me a refurbished wheel online and have been paying for me to drive an altima coupe around for the past two weeks.
At least the MSP isn't getting miles put on it.

My car isn't gaining miles either.....sitting at 256,640 since august 4th....le sigh

In other news....this happened......

It's just a test fitment for now. Still have to order my 3rd set of black depo headlights for the retrofit. These are just extra OEM ones I had laying around....

The bumper looks alot lighter then the passenger fender has the fender been stripped and primed? What are you doing with the grill ?

Are Nology Hotwires and ground unit worth it or not. Debating?

not sure about nology wires, I've been told by Sam the NGK wires are better for the $. There's a diy gounding kit in the how to section that Dean (pumpkinhead) raves about at every meet. Maybe try that first then see if the unit is needed?

That looks like a sunlight silver front bumper cover, maybe... It seems too light to be titanium... But I do agree that the passenger fender looks like it's been prepped for paint or something...

Thanks Nate?
