it adds vibrations, just like a motor mount but you only feel them while driving.

Yes, but you'll need to keep the MSP windage tray for the oil drain from the turbo, and if you get an older block you'll need to bring over your head and all that.
cheaper yes, but you'll still have a new used engine that could last 5 miles, or 500k.
