What have you done to your MSP today?

tinkered with the car again today. Car is still idling low when coming to a stop and still stalls occasionally. I even swapped a set of coils I had laying around. I also seafoamed the hell out of the car again today, put on a smoke show down a few streets and still no change. I doubt it's the timing because for some reason, the idle is smooth or about the same as it was before the car started acting like it is now.

edit: I'll be cleaning the IACV tomorrow morning. Wish me luck

Oh and guys I have another MSP in my garage on jacks. The transmission is out of it. So can i say I own two for now? Even though its my friends? lol

Then I just got home, and my coilovers are here!!!

Why do I have to start my vacation tomorrow?!?!?!? If it wasn't for my wife and kids I would cancel.

This has been one of my best car days ever.

edit: What do you guys think of the new colors? I kinda like em' better than the green on green.

Man I can't wait to order my damn coilovers. I really want to know what you think of the Fortunes, I have been looking at them for a while. Excellent numbers by the way, are you forged?

still trying to figure out why my car won't idle right and wants to shut off whenever I come to a stop. Real close to saying screw it and selling the car once I figure out what the problem is this time.
I would clean the TB plate with good carb cleaner, clean the IAC and TPS sensors and the MAF for good measure. Otherwise could be a boost or vacuum leak.

Yeah and tell me how I keep up with my friends 270whp mustang and I destroy my other friends h22 swaped accord. Lol.

no idea but thats way low.. i put down more then 132 at 3lbs when i had a improperly adjusted wastegate.

Final numbers;

240whp & 260lb/ft @ 11psi

90% of the torque by 3300rpm, then a little bump at about 4300. I'll post the dyno charts once he emails them to me.

Nice man, thats should hold you over for a little bit at least.

I'll let you know what I think once I get home and try em out. My brother and a couple friends are installing them for me while I'm on vacation. Yeah, I have the best friends ever.

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with the numbers. Not forged. I have the latest J&S Vampire though.

soon the MSP won't be my dedicated DD. Can't use it as a daily with all the problems popping up back to back. Picking up an Evo in the near future

Since I now have to get new tires I'm thinking bout trying to go with more side wall without the bulge... I guess im looking for the tire to be flat with rim not bulging over, so would a 205/50/17 be what I'm looking for or is that still equal to stock size? I'm also lowered 2" any help would be greatly appreciated

We had this convo a week or 2 ago when I got my new rims. I did the same. I'm running 215/50/17 in the back. Im +15mm and I'm not dropped but it does rub some with suspension travel.

More sidewall will make the tire bulge more. You should probably look at a 215/40 or a 225/40. IMO a 35 series tire is too small for most daily driven cars.

215/45 is the stock size. 205/50 is really close to that. I ran that size on my P5 for a short while on stock 3 wheels.
