What have you done to your MSP today?

anybody else do this yet? wondering if they found a good way to route the piping to the brakes

haven't done that, but i was working on a fog delete project to put small LED fogs within the delete itself...

keep with the updates tho, i'm interested how that turns out

So basically the vibration/knocking I feel in the firewall feels the hardest when I accelerate at lower rpms. I heard some new noises coming fron the front right too, dosent drive any different though. I havent had time to really look at it but im kind of puzzled... It all started shortly after I retightened my front right axle which was a bit loose and made my tires vibrate at highway speeds. I plan on taking the whole taking out to look at the axle but I dont have time to do that until the weekend.. could it possibly be caused by the axle?

I know how you feel. I just replaced a rear caliper late last week and now I'm hearing this terrible creaking noise when turning the wheel. Probably needs a ******* steering gear with my luck. Seriously, the only reason I'm still driving this car is because I have to wait for my new car to come in from the factory. It must know something is up and decided to commit suicide. I may as well throw $100 bills in the god damn gas tank.

I am having both of these problems. I recently replaced the front axle as well as a front caliper. All of this also came after installing the freshly rebuilt motor. I have no idea what it is, but it makes my car sound like a piece of crap and makes it far less enjoyable to drive when their is a loud clunk upon every take off and creaking when easing into a parking spot...

would these radiator hoses fit the MSP ? http://www.ebay.com/itm/OBX-Radiato...Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a18758ad5&vxp=mtr

They are for the protege 5... wasn't sure ...

yes. they will.

wheel bearings is a culprit of some of your symptoms.. also a thump could be a motor mount issue. and also axle.

no, it won't be mistaken. lol. people just don't know mazda proteges. subaru = subaru.
mazda = subaru, mitsubishi, hell even hondas.

Thank you. I'm very excited as this will be my first brand new car.

People always ask me if my car is a Subaru, so I guess this car will be mistaken for a Mazda. Oh well.

Anyone know where I could get replacement axles for a msp? Other than the stealership.. I may or may not have to change them but id rather look at the prices first.

For the MSP specific axles it is the dealership, or used. Sorry, man. :(

And he's a good dude, I've bought several things off of him.

haven't done anything to the msp today, or the past couple months, however i might get the chance saturday morning.

So those will work for the msp, sweet, thanks.for the response. Prob gunna order those , since my couplers are red and my BOV is too.... Make it look nice and pretty Haha

I really meant axles that are 24mm like the stock msp ones, doubtful that any of the autoparts store has them. That does look like a great deal for used axles!

So are you guys saying that the axles on the mazdaspeed protege aren't the same as what you will get when you order them from rockauto.com no matter how confident they sound? They are thicker correct?

I have always put the whole thing in the tank, as long as you have 1/2 tank or more i think it says on the bottle.... then would fill the tank after...

I think they say you suck in 1/3, 1/3 in the gas and 1/3 in the oil. I heard many mixed reviews about putting it in your oil and how you should change your oil soon after.. I personally put 1/3 in the vacuum lines and 2/3 in the fuel tank, as long as I have at least half a tank.
