What have you done to your MSP today?

oem carbon or vented. either way it is a hell of a steal.

Called the guy back to tell him I'll be coming Saturday to get it and he tells me he needs to make sure he has it... When he called me back he told me it was vented and not OE style.. I don't know how I feel about that...

So i "bled" the PS system and the ps pump has quieted down quite a bit. It still can be slightly moany when making tight turns. I'm thinking maybe it needs new fluid but not to sure the easiest way to drain/fill the system.

Yeah, if it was OEM you could just get it painted, but don't think you'd enjoy all the compliments on your EVO.

I just went through this very same ordeal! Started screeching at me at full lock then couldn't turn the wheel either way without screeching until I gassed it little. Tightened the belt and fluid was already full. Put on a new belt...same thing, so I ordered another ps pump from mazmax for nothing. Turned out to be my ac compressor bracket was a little loose causing slack from when I did my pope dp.

Though, some manufacturers recommend a power steering system service, I rarely do them... However, often when there's a noise on Fords and Toyota/Lexus a power steering system drain and refill will quiet the noise.

Ahh good call he said he was just messing with his AC compressor.

Down pipe is finally in also!

That is cool what brand is that? Technically a DP is off the turbo, that's a J pipe. If you can feel a difference from that wait until you upgrade the mid pipe, especially if you remove the cats. You can also remove that broken rusty bracket on the trans for the stock J pipe.

I dont have a single appearance mod on my car, unless you consider it being lowered an appearance mod, to me its still just performance. I need to get my hand on a corksport J pipe I have the CS S pipe and a custom J pipe. Ill probably end up getting pope's 3" dp at some point...

Thinking about test fitting my old icw rims.... They are 16x8 with a +38 offset, depending on how they sit I might get spacers for flush... What do you guys think

I love my appearance mods as much as I love my motor mods.


This is coming from a guy who has a lot of both and did both at the same time. Some people can't afford motor mods that will blow the motor which they have to build. Just saying. Lol

17x8 +38 offset for reference. I felt the rear stuck out too much but could be the 235 series tires, fronts looked perfect but that's me.

honestly don't know about when we could roll your fenders, Baby is due any day now. They're having a fender rolling party in Akron which I know is a bit of a drive. I'm sure we can work something out so you can get it done.
