How come you're selling... Didn't you just recently acquire this thing?
yes... but i'm considering a subaru BRZ.
and need $ now for other things, so i'm gonna part ways with the black and keep the silver bullet for the time being.
One day I will have another car, but I dread that day because no other car drives the way the MSP does and no other car probably will. I enjoy not having a car payment, and there simply isn't a car on the market with a throttle cable and linkage shifter. I can't enjoy driving throttle by wire and cable shifted cars nearly as much, not to mention not many cars (if any on the market today) compare to the handling and character of the stock MSP racing beat suspension. I appreciate the simplicity of the MSP, no BS electrical 'nannies' like traction control and the myriad of warning systems and crap cars have now that are absolutely unnecessary to a competent adult and just add more parts to eventually fail and give you a headache.

I would love to find an MP3 as a new daily but I disagree with anyone that calls the MSP unreliable. I have daily driven mine since July 2010 and aside from a couple aftermarket parts failing (that I added myself which is my fault NOT the car's) and a battery dying while driving the car has been every bit as reliable as any other on the road. And it's a great DD IMO, it gets about 28mpg, seats 5 and has a nice easy, light clutch pedal.I honestly didn't notice the difference when I test drove the WRX. Maybe I was just busy drooling over how comfy the seats are and how smooth it drove. Plus it is much faster than my MSP has ever been and I am just going to keep it stock unless I get another car to DD in the future. The MSP has a great sports car feel to it, but it really sucks ass for being a DD.
Personally, I think I enjoyed driving the MP3 more than the MSP. Despite the obvious lack of power, it had great handling, great looks and was actually reliable.
I didn't know that, just the STI, WRXs or all Imprezas?sti's aren't cable shift.
Thanks guys, that's how I feel about most cars these days, they are getting uglier and have more and more things added on that aren't needed or wanted. Not to mention it's hard to find a new car with a good old fashioned MANUAL transmission.
I think I like these MSPs a little too much.

Every car on sale today will have more power than the MSP does and will be more comfortable but will it be easier to work on when it needs it (not an issue with a car under warranty unless they are mods)? And can any new car truly match the light handling and reassuring suspension Racing Beat put together?
I'm sure we all think it but I wish there was a way to buy a brand new MSP.
