What have you done to your MSP today?

Had it appraised at the local Subaru dealer after test driving a new WRX. Boy did I feel spoiled after getting back in the MSP to drive home LOL.

Lol, did it suck that bad getting back in the MSP?

Well in all fairness, the MSP is 9 years old now so obviously it doesn't have all the luxuries and whatnot. But the WRX just felt so powerful and I think it handled just as well as the MSP through the turns despite being a heavier car. One thing I really enjoyed was the stock exhaust note lol. Gives that signature Suby growl but it's not obnoxiously loud like my Vibrant at highway speeds.

Not trying to piss you guys off, because I do enjoy the MSP for its rarity and great handling. But after reading more about the various problems with the MS3 and the fact that it is still FWD, it just doesn't seem like an upgrade. I haven't signed any papers yet, but I am definitely stuck on the new Rex.

Yeah, understandable. One of my good friends is wanting to buy a new STI but man there is no way I would ever spend 40,000 dollars on a car. They are nice, and he talks about how awesome they are. But for 40,000 dollars it better be so awesome that I can live in it.

Haha yea even the salesman I was talking to was saying how it really isn't worth buying an STI instead of a WRX, unless you are going to track it or something. The only thing that the WRX is missing would be the bulletproof 6 speed trans.

okay done threadjacking sorry guys.

For 40k I would be driving a Boss 302.

Anyways today I went to a junkyard to find some regular Pro radiator brackets for the Mishimoto I am getting and also found a chrome Protege rear emblem that I can paint titanium to match my other emblems. Probably gonna paint the rad brackets titanium too, also pulled a Mazda thing off the airbox of an old RX7.

Just bought a s204 lip, how do you guy reccomend I install it with self taping screws with the flat washer? Also more screws the better it sits right?

We fixed my leaky headlight and reloaded my superstock tune last night. Pulls a helluva lot smoother now.

Have you tried the FMIC map? My car runs a lot better with that map, it runs rich with the Superstock map.

Alternator wp belt broke. Now my way to work is at work.
You can still drive the car a few miles. Don't boost! And dont use the AC or radio and you will be fine.

I mean this in no disrespect but was it installation error? I have never seen a new gates belt snap and we have installed hundred of them.
