on the way home my car started running funny and the cel came on. I parked the car, read the code (p0301) which is a misfire in cylinder 1. So I went to buy new plugs and wires the next day and replaced them, didn't run AS bad, but still horrible and the cel came back on. I sparyed all over the car with cleaner to see if there was a vacuum leak since the the code said that the car was running lean, but nothing.. So I went to my gf's dad's shop to see if they could find what was wrong with it and my mechanic said that it's probably the coils since I didn't change them. So he ordered the one and we put it in, car ran a lot better, but still not normal. Then he says the only other thing I can think of would be the injectors. So we popped off the engine cover one more time and lean over the engine; the only thing that came out of my mouth was "why the..." and Jim jumped in and said "the damn thing isn't even plugged in?!" so we plugged it in and whaddya know? It runs fine again.. The damn ppl that installed my remote start must have knocked it loose and on the way home it detached.. On the way home I picked up the other coil and threw it in so they're all on the same page. But yeah, that was my long weekend story, thanks for listeningwrong.. it will idle with only 1 coil pack plugged in... i didnt have one plugged in fully after new plugs due to little kids running around the car.
