What have you done to your MSP today?

Wired some Day lights up on my bottom grill peace, LED lights not to bad, also cuz some wholes on the the center console where the E-break is and put two switches there, looks pretty sick... When i excelerate my care makes this wierd noice like something is vibraiting on somthing does it when the RPMs are going down as well... SLS mid-pipe will be here on the 21st! cant wait for that !

I used rusto high performance wheel, and If you want to do it right, you should get 1 can for every 2 wheels. and probably just one can of clear coat for all 4. Don't do it without the clear coat because it will look way nicer with the shiny coat and it will last longer.

Yeah i def would do the clear coat just for the fact of living in NE the weathedr always sucks here lol so 2 cans of the black and one can of the clear, Do they have a pro. clear coat for wheels as well or just go with an auto clear coat... i Bought the Duplie for the black.. should i bring that back and get they other brand?

Just ordered a set of Rota G-Force 17x8 +48 Hyperblack wheels!! Should be taking the car into get 'em put on friday. Pics will be up shortly after that!

I used the silver/grey on my drag wheels, no clear, and it left it with a nice textured/matte finish. Perfect for wheels that see very little use, but absolutely, for DD wheels, you really have to clear it, or you'll be beating yourself up any time you try to get them clean.

With the spicey i think black wheels would look sick on it, and dont have the money right now to buy new ones, so this would be the best alternatieve for that, just hope they come out looking decent...

Yeah, theres high perf. wheel clear coat too. You'll see one of the can's caps' is clear.

yeah i found that at Advance and bought a can, last one they had, does it work decent? anyone try it before? and how many cans you think for all four wheels 3-4 ?

I used it when I did my MSM wheels bronze. 3 cans were used. Held up very well, and I use very aggressive brake pads that dust like a mofo.

And, just take your time with it. Invite a buddy over, sand a wheel good, spray, drink a beer or two and play call of duty or something while you do it. When I did mine, I started at like 6 at night and busted ass to finish by 8. I was literally spraying the clear coat onto semi-wet paint while being devoured by mosquitos. Threw the wheels on using a flashlight and then went to bed pissed. They came out decent even with a half ass job, but I know my impatience will show when the dirt and salt shreds the s*** out of the paint this winter.

so over all, shouldnt be a bad deal for me to do... 3 cans black just in case so they have enought coats and maybe 2 cans clears... so they keep up nice... thanks Peeps

Yeah, you should be good. I had a couple stone chips on mine, but I also didn't use more than one can of clear for all of the wheels. So... my bad.

Nm, they don't have them or the clear coat.... Was going to get the high heat clear coat but wasn't sure if that would work or not...

Just got my 2003.5 MAZDASPEED Protege yesterday. First on my list was new tires, and clean it good. Throw a squash in there, and get a can of plasti-dip so I can do my emblems tomorrow because the guy that had it before me had the spray paint chipped on all the emblems. Plasti-dip rules.
