well my factory battery terminals are s***, any style suggestions? lol I am just gonna go to the parts house and pick some up.
My car ALWAYS throws a P0171 and there are no problems with it otherwise. P0660 is VICS circuit malfunction I believe.finally checked my CEL..... p0171 and p0660. gonna try to clean my MAF. don't know where to start as far as tackling the p0660
Lol I saw that coming!
I think my turbo might be shot:/ I have a lot of oil in it and some in my intercooler piping.. I thought it was because I bought crappy couplers and it kept popping off and maybe it triggered something or something.. But since I replaced the couplers and t-bolts, and it's been a week, it's still holding oil.. And today my piping popped off at the turbo, which hasn't done that since I've had a custom hot pipe before the fmic kit (about a year).. I've read that it could be a number of things like the oil return line from the turbo could be could be clogged, or something like that.. But idk I just need advice..
It may be a bad sensor, i'm not sure but it's electrical so it's got to be the sensor or wiring. I've cleaned the MAF sensor several times to clear the P0171 and it didn't help. The list for clearing the P0171 is actually pretty long: IAC, MAF, EGR, VICS/VTCS, vacuum leak, CKP, or CMP sensors. So it may be related to the P0660.yeah i read the P0171, you just clean your MAF or replace your o2 sensor.
for P0660, is it something i just replace or what?

Unhook the breather line that goes into the intake tube, it can back oil up into the turbo from the crankcase. Your turbo may be bad though.
I would invest in a catch can. Before you know it, the breather will be coated in oil and could cause quite a mess. With a catch can you will have the breather on top of the can, away from any oil that might come out of the crankcase, and you can still keep your intercooler pipes / intake clean.
I have 77k on my car and not a drop of oil in any of my intake or intercooler pipes.
I have had a breather on for almost 30k miles and I drive my car pretty hard, no oil anywhere. A catch can is obviously ideal but for $10 a breather is completely worth it. There was oil in the intake of my turbo when I first got my car (at 86k miles) so i'm convinced the PCV hose does actually spit oil into the intake.I would invest in a catch can.
