What have you done to your MSP today?

So I should probably use red for the flywheel then?

Also axles, half shafts, and front and rear motor mounts are out. Only thing holding it in is the trans mount and the passenger side mount. Gonna be picking a lift up from my friends house some time this week. The drop hoist worked for getting the new motor out but I can't get the old one out oof my car without a hoist. Luckily my brother brought his drop hoist up for me to use so I didn't buy one.

What the..... whoever told you those loctite uses is a bit off.
Green: Same as blue, just not as strong and ment for smaller bolts/nuts.
Blue: temporary, use on bolts/nuts that can be removed with normal hand tools
Red: high heat, permanent. Ment to be used on stuff you remove with air tools and heat.

I thought what I used was green for some reason but I looked at the bottle and its actually red. (Its not in a loctite bottle) And im with Justanothermp5, because thats what ive always been told.

just wanted to post and say that the MSP is officially gone. It is still in the family, so i will get to see her from time to time. It was much harder to let her go than i thought it would be haha. The MSP went through a major transformation over the 3.5 years i owned her.

Couple pics in memory of #613.

day i brought her home, completely stock with 40k miles

If you don't mind me asking...why'd you get rid of it?

not at all... was just looking to try something different. Picked up a 1998 BMW m3 coupe (a car i have always wanted to own). Its much nicer to drive on a day to day basis as well. The protege just got modded to the point that it wasn't as practical as an everyday car.

Yeah, I'd take the M3 any day over an msp. Just saying. A lot nicer. Probably cheaper in the end by the looks of it too.

those are nice cars. i've been debating going back to stock and/or possibly getting a new car lately for DDing

I've already decided I'm getting rid of the MSP once I get my first legit flying job. Gonna get a car a pilot should be driving, not one that looks like a kid should be driving it...

Yea I've been considering the wingless look to help tone down the racer look. Plus with the solid motor mounts, it just shakes like crazy.

Omg TurboXS Type-H is fantastic! Absolutely no turkey at any boost level and nice woosh. Glad I went with that one :)
