What have you done to your MSP today?

didnt i hear on here once that like a mazda 6 flip key fobs can be programmed for the protege? anybody can point me to the page?

anybody know if only the FCC ID # KPU41704 fobs are compatible with the msp's? or are the FCC ID: KPU41846 & FCC ID: KPU 41794 ok as well?

All of you guys running a FMIC, What fan set up are you running?

I dont think 2 10" slims is efficient enough unfortunately. My coolant was boiling after a decent drive yesterday. I'm hoping it was just air in the system and that my coolant overflow seam is leaking.

Im running 2 12" slims. Both wired it to kick on at the same time(I don't use my AC so they kick on When the primary fan would normally)

All that for 1/2 lb weight savings? My medieval weighed barely over 2 lbs.

Anyways in an attempt to cool down the engine bay I removed the cowl weaterstripping and put washers to space the hood up some. And i cleaned up some of the wiring underhood.

how did this work out for you for cooling under the hood? What exactly did you do?

Does anyone here run their damn AC??????? I NEED to be able to use it? Is that not going to happen with a FMIC?

What about running a 12" slim for the radiator fan and then mounting a 10" on the front of the AC condensor set up to push for the AC?

I have 2 10" slim fans and a mishimoto rad and haven't had overheating issues. The a/c does suck now but i thought it just needed recharged.

It's got to be a flow issue...my AC sucks until I'm at highway speeds...then the core was being cooled enough to make the AC ice cold. I dont think the 10" is enough.

I'm going to try to squeeze in the stock fans again.

If it keeps giving me s*** Im just going to pull the FMIC and put the stock SMIC and such back in and just run hardpipes. I need to have the car running.

Well I don't run my AC by choice....not because I can't...im thinking about recharging mine and putting a pusher fan on the core cause im pretty spoiled by my gfs 2010 mazda 3 .....its AC kicks ass.

I'm in FL, so AC is definitely a necessity. I'll try to get the stock fans in, if not I'll try other stuff.

Would the stock radiator fan be efficient enough with the SMIC not in its place?

I have a few options here:

-Stock fans back in
-buy 12" for Radiator fan, run 1 10" pull for the AC and a 10" push for the condensor
-Run 2 12" fans

I am also replacing my overflow tank with the weapon R one since my stocker leaks.

I was thinking that could have been the reason for the heat and boiling coolant, but that doesnt solve the AC issue...thats obviously a flow issue.

^This. Sorry, but we need the AC and the car to run well. Don't know what else to do at this point. (dunno)
