put the other trans in the car, put all the little stuff back together, everything is running now. just need to get a new clutch. i rattle canned the engine bay, but some break fluid got on a few spots thats why its not that good...

I'm selling an awesome clutch and flywheel setup for ya!

If one disconnects the battery does it take tome for the ssafc/ecu to relearn what its doin?

SSAFC has flash memory and will maintain its tune no matter what you do. ECU, relies on battery power and will go through a new cycle of learning fuel trims etc when power is disconnected.

Drivers front brake caliper locked up on the way to work this morning. This is the third one (on different corners) in 8k miles, second in 2k. Bad luck, or am I pushing some crap into the system that's just migrating to a new spot to cause trouble?

Yea. Weapon R makes one. Protege garage carries it. You can use any bottom feeding vented can. I have a greddy can in my car

My key fob is no longer locking my doors and now whenever I attempt to start the car the alarm goes nuts and won't let the car start. I getting pretty tired of unplugging the battery to reset the alarm every time I need to go somewhere. Any suggestions?

check for a blown fuse in the driver's compartment, it's labled something like back windsheild wiper for the p5. that's what fixed it when i had the same problem
