hey, I was looking around the old msp crap in my garage, and saw the crank and the clutch/flywheel, it was sitting there for a while and has a really small layer of surface rust on them, can you even use the clutch again after that, like can it be cleaned and stuff, or do I just have to dump it, I wish I had been there when they were taking apart that part of the car a year or so ago so I could have put it away better, since the clutch was in good shape..and the crank, it only has a little surface rust on half of it, could someone use that again if it was brushed off?.. anyone want it if they pay for shipping and like $20 lol? just wanted to check before I thought about dumping them

Believe it or not, that car ran virtually untuned for 3 years. Never missed any preventive maintenance. Call me lucky I guess.

Werd. Once I get some more goodies installed I would like a dyno tune. Thinking about going all out and getting a Haltech Sprint 500. If I do, I'll get an extension harness to make it plug and play for emissions purposes

JDMSam can pre wire it for you to to truely make it plug and play... I think ill be goign that route sooner or later as well.

lmao I hear ya.. i really need to locate a good throttle body and fix my exhaust leak before I do that. no proteges or late 626 in the local junk yards that im aware of. I was having fuel cut issues before the exhaust mani leak

Ebay. Found one brand new for about 40% off Sam's price, enough to cover having him wire it and shipping

I couldnt find one cheaper then 900 yet alone 40% off retail
it was last summer right after they raised the price on them. A wholesaler had one with a best offer. I low balled him and he cam back $50 higher so I took it.
