Due to my ongoing battle with the dreaded P0170 (System Too Lean) CEL code, I haven't been able to pass emissions testing in Virginia. Last Friday, I reset my ECU by disconnecting the battery. I drove very little during the weekend, and hurried in to a testing center before the CEL could return. Passed emissions and registered the car today (current registration expires July 31). CEL is expected to return shortly, as the car is still running like crap.
I'm hoping to meet up with Damian (boostdprotegelx) soon and replace the intake manifold gasket, replace the IAC valve body, and check the wga and exhaust for any leaks that might be there.
If none of these fixes the problem, I don't know what else to do but go insane. I've replaced just about every ignition, electrical, emissions, fuel, and air-intake related part and/or sensor that could possibly be related to the issue.
I'll keep everyone posted.

maybe, i gotta figure out something to do though more permanent, that or p.i. not doing security forever. AC was referring to air conditioned job, I'm not being outside anymore in a heavy ass uniform in the sun, unless it's winter or spring or fall. No summer.

my brother's Aeromotive fpr rebuild kit just came in, the car is hot now, I tomorrow I am going to stick that baby in and pray that it gets the car working again, it should FINALLY be all set, can't wait
is it the timing belt around the cams that needs replaced at 60k or just the belts for the a/c, alt, ps etc that need replaced or all of the above?

Timing belt in my manual is 105k. For schedule A at least...
