What have you done to your MSP today?

no kidding. how can you leave a post like THAT!?

It improved the drivability of the car a ton the power band is way smother and it has more power with the ac on and going up hills. It's the little things that this mani makes you go wow over. At stock boost I can't tell a huge power diff but I can tell when I raise it back to ten it's gonna scream. It really improved the drivability a ton.

i guess in my case, its more like whats being done to my MSP...

SO i started the car up with the new ECU setup, and it started on first crank. I am so happy and it runs well.

The other day: Installed my JCell surround, and ForceFed steering column pods with my ultralight oil press, boost and wideband gauges

Last night wired up my SSAFC and J&S

I still have some odds and ends to do for all of the above but all the in car wiring is done and she runs! Next up: performance mods!

ha. test rolled on my 15's today and the two on the pass side went flat at work lol. guess the tires are phuced some. Ah well. $50 is still good for 4 wheels. even if the tires are garbage.

I think my car pulls as hard now as it did on 10 psi before...... That 505Zoom intake manifold really smoothed out the powerband. I love it! still have to make some little adjustments to the throttle cable and then ill be done. well worth the wait.

^^^ did you have the 626 mani before that, or did you just go straight from the stock to that one?

also today I finally got the rest of my couplers in for my fmic kit... put the hot side together, and then was about to put the rest of the cold side on.. and just did a quick bumper fitment to see how it was... just as I feared.. doesn't fit..pretty pissed off, I don't know why mazda needed to make the 03 foglight enclosures so damn deep. not sure how I can run the pipes now though, gonna be a PITA though

Yea that was an issue for my FMIC cold pipe as well.

yea, just try everything before you cut any of the bumper, i cut a shitload out of my bumper to get it to fit and i kinda regret it cuz i can never go back to fogs

Its a little pricier, but you can use silicone hose in that area, so if it bumps in just a lil, the flow will be fine. and it will give a nice expansion/movement joint. The biggest thing is to make sure your IC core is all the way back to the frame. Moving the PS cooling loop behind the hood latch support bar gives you the ability to move the core all the way back to the frame, just put some foam between the IC core and the frame.

lol didn't expect any real response, but anyways ya I was freaking out last night, just so damn frustrating, but I test fitted using one of the 45* couplers I had around and it works perfectly for the cold and hot side, so I just ordered them, (another $15 shipping, $50 overall, after ordering 2 90* and a 45* coupler 3 days ago lol) but they should work, then the problem was the FMIC core being to farward and hitting the front grill and stuff, so now I removed everything, and am going to flip the core around, and use the brackets I had welded onto the core on the back side of the crash bar with 2 washers in between and then just have to expand the drilled holes from the top of the bar a little to get bolts to line up correctly and then recut the back of the crash bar part a tiny bit more, and level it out so it sits evenly.. then it will look sweet and all fit perfectly with no pipes sticking out anywhere, a HUGE PITA, but will be worth it, just wish I didn't have to keep ordering couplers, no where around here has them in store, and there more expensive to get it from the local stores that would order it anyways...
so in between working today, that is what I found out and did..

now I will help my dad put in the new wga that we finally found to fit my brother's turbo, and put in his new wideband o2 sensor and cai filter hydroshield since the guy that did his car origionlly just cut the mud gaurd things, and then sometime next week, install the ssafc we just got in, and reinstall his 440cc RC injectors, then tune.. finally haha

so overall im happy I know how to make it work, just a pain in the ass to have to wait for couplers to come in, I want that s*** now, I don't like not having my car to drive lol, an 98 dodge stratus is not fun to drive

cleaned the s*** out of the interior. workin in the field you get alot of dust. washed then clayed then waxed my car :) looks good

Exactly what I did on Thursday/Friday. That was the first time I have ever clay barred, or waxed my car, and I have owned it for 3.5 years, lol. Honestly though there were very few contaminents in the clear, so the clay bar didn't do much. It did work great for getting the bugs off the front though.
