almost forgot.
today my dad and i looked further into the gauge setup i'm going to have. searched through all the wires to figure out which goes where, fit the gauges into the dual pillar, and so on. sadly since we're working on fitting it perfectly to the A pillar, we decided to keep it off for now. so in short, i'm driving with a missing A pillar lol. no big deal though.

well i had a day of fail today...
each time i look at my car.. i like it, or hate it.. i think because i want to get it done..new lip in the front, and rear, and the correct springs... well i went to see the hangover again(hilarious, again)... and when i came out i was like AHHH it's soo pretty.. i can't wait to drive it.... it's like 9:40 at this point, and it was dark, but the parking lot lights made it amazing to look at..
get in the car, go to start it up and squeeeling like a mother ******... i put new belts on the other day.. and it's been having issues w/ squeeling.. but everyone was outside.. and it really was embarrassing.. soo the issue is that the PS tensioner is broken.. i need a new bracket/tensioner... the bolt is totally siezed.. and rounded off.. god that pissed me off.
if anyone has one they wanna send me.. i threw my old ps setup away, last week.. ****.

Dude, we practically had the same night...
I went to see hangover too, this was my first time though and agreed, hilarious & when I got into my car and started it up, it screamed horribly as well. It was only for about 10 secs and it wasn't in front of ne one, still embarrassing though. It's the first time thats ever happened to me.
I replaced the belts yesterday, I guess I didn't tighten them just enough?
Oh yeah, that same bolt on got stripped on me when I was trying to take it off as well. lol.

realized some dumb ***** bumped my bumper in a mall parking lot without us knowing...saw a little spot on the bumper yesterday w/ a little paint coming off right in the spot I had repainted several months ago because of my issue.

lol. i can't tighten it.. that's the issue.. because i need to get a new tensioner bracket..
well.. tighten more.. i hate that s***. pisses me off so bad!

ok well over saturday all I did was take the head bolt out........ I tried to get the head off but it wouldnt budge, and at 3 PM it was around 90 degrees with ungodly hummidity, and no A/c in the garage FTL. so ill get back at it next saturday take a pry bar to the intake side to loosen her up a bit, the shop doing the boring is packed until the end of July anyways, so I gots PLENTY of time.
anyone here have the secret weapon sri from weapon-r? over a year after having it they finally sent me the support bracket for it but i dont see how the hell it installs. so if you have this sri and have installed the bracket post a pic so i can see what you did. thanks.

I have the same SRI. The support ends up pretty well hidden, so it'll be hard to get a good pic, but I'll try after work. Basically, you bend the support at two points so it is shaped like a "u" with the center section being as long as necessary to reach from the inside wheel well (where you mount the rubber bumper) to the underside of the filter neck. Then you loosen the band at the filter neck, slide the end of the support bracket between the filter neck and band, and tighten the band back down.

i replaced the ps bracket today. and found that my alternator bracket didn't have the bolt in to hold it on the block.. WTF.. so i put one of those on too..
squeeling from hell *seems* to have died... we'll see..
