What have you done to your MSP today?

I get them through MazdaMotorsports, which I belong to because of auto-x. They discount them a bit over online prices. OnlineMazdaParts.com has the cheapest price and they are $14.22 a piece plus shipping.

I drove the car, at first it squeaked but as i drove it it went away. so it is definately my bushings and the lithium grease i sprayed on it yesterday did the trick. If it comes back i will have to take the uclamp off the bushing and spray the whole bushing. If it comes back after that I will just replace the bushing.

YAY.!!

Bought new sway bar bushings again. Mazda is up to revision E on the bushings. They should just give up and go with Poly instead of rubber. Hopefully these teamed up with some synthetic grease will withstand the rain and salt from next winter, unlike my current ones with normal grease.

Surprised they are only on revision E. I had the D revision bushings on mine put on back in 04 and they held strong even when I sold the car last november.

well, the MAF is like over $200 so first try the o2

uh wow... I love junk yard specials... 60 bucks newer MAF, first one I got from em didnt work, I just took it back and they handed me a different one said here try this one.

That's cuz you don't have salt being used on your roads for four months out of the year. The weather conditions up here are awful for external components.

Yeah good point I forgot about that...lost my SHO to new jersey winters so glad I don't live up there anymore just for that point lol

man they tried this new chemical stuff down here over the winter... it is HORRIBLE on the bushings.... I swear I need new ones already after replacing them a year ago.

I dont know man... maybe a pic of the broke tab might explain whats going wrong or just try a better quailty cap.

Maybe the rad has a broken tab and its cutting into the cap body? After 2 id start to look at the rad as the culprit. Compare it to someones who's not cuttin them up. Unless your buying black market caps from the back of a white, unmarked van in a parking lot at midnight. then id stop doing that.

it happend with 2 stock ones and an one from pepboys, they said that the thermostat is not working properly and is causing to much pressure in the system casuing the cap to break, does that sound right? and i checked the rad and it is not leaking or has no cracks in it so i dont know what to do now
