What have you done to your MSP today?

dude, i WISH i could get milage like that.. i seem to go through a half tank every couple days... T_T

The msp gets pretty good gas mileage. The more exhaust and intake upgrades you have the better it is. (You can use that tidbit of info to convince your better halves to let you upgrade the car) when I had my msp modded I would regularly see 24-28mpg in town and on trips I would easily pull 36-39mpg depending on how I drove.

I haven't driven the msp in a couple days, I'm waiting on the new turbo to arrive. The Precision is toast...don't ask.
My roommate is letting me borrow his 07' civic EX with Navi, this car practically drives itself. He ordered a Fujita CAI, pics of install on tuesday.

ahh thanks. i havent been really doin enuf research as i should have on the msp since i owned it lol. its jus scary esp in heavy traffic when it hesitates like crazy in 1st and 2nd under 2500rpm

is there a way for me to check if its reflashed?

as far as MPG goes, my first tank i got 400 to the tank and at the gas station calculated bout 34mpg. this was mostly highway when i went to pick the car up. now that its driven all city im gettin bout 26, same as my mp3 lol.

sounds about right to me on the mileage... the MP3 ecu is tuned for premium too.

One thing that i've noticed is that when you coast with the car in gear you seem to get better gas mileage vs just coasting out of gear. Or well thats what it seems like for the last two tanks at least!

The only exhuast mod I have is a Greddy SP2 catback. I wouldn't think a fmic and cai(converted to sri) would affect the mileage any.

I see 31-33 mpg regularly but I don't gun it that often, I drive mostly 65-70 mph to and from work with no traffic, and no mods to speak of.

when the built motor lost oil pressure, the turbo did to. Chewed up the turbine and compressor wheels. Had it rebuilt, and it only lasted 900 miles. The rebuilt turbo started to smoke bad the other day. I'm taking it out right now. The brand new turbo should be here mid week.

^^Whcih turbo u going with? Or its a surprise.

Edit: 1000th post. Woot woot.

sweet! the new signature pic is nize

um, its smaller. The SC61 would've been more fun if I pushed 20psi, but since the motor is stock again i opted for a smaller more streetable turbo.

it must be bacause its all city driving. ill put $20 into it and get it to half, then the light will come on 2-3 days later going to and from work.
i started to do night deliveries which know has been using it up faster. $20 for two nights of that, but it still seems a bit excessive.
im thinking my next mod should be a boost controller.

Sounds like me I drive like 50-60 miles every day I work... no telling what I drive on my days off.
