What have you done to your MSP today?

Installed the lightweight accessory pulleys from Brach saturday. Either the PS pulley grooves aren't spaced quite right, or my belts are off. The belt gets a cup shape once installed because the ribs don't mesh with the grooves properly. New belt I bought jumped a rib when I turned the car over the first time. No visible problems with the other pulleys.

get them from ken, it takes a while to get them but man his awr mounts are amazing, i have the 88 i think they are 80 somthing.

see yea i would get the awr's but i want solid mounts all the way around. i priced it out and it would be cheaper for me to get all the su mounts then the 3 solid awr mounts and 1 SU mount. so im just going to be going with the SU 90a mounts

Wahsed and waxed her....lookin good after all the rain that has happened...

You really shouldnt need the trans mount unless its torn..

youll definately want solid ones at that power. Im near or lil above the 200 mark i beleive and i can get wheel hop if i mash it in 4th. Granted im on winter tires but youll need the stiffness.

After much deliberation, decided to sell (I'm keeping the P5 and since I've got the parts, I will be going turbo (evil)). For sale / part out thread will be up in the next two weeks ...

Took off rear lip and cleaned off all the glu strip that was left and going to re mount it this weekend. Stupid saggy lip :)

Brake opinions/questions:
Okay everyone i need a response ASAP because I need brakes so I need to oder these ASAP, on PG I am looking at the Hawk High Performance street and the EBC green stuff pads. I need street performance so these were my first two choices. they are both the same price so I need an opinion as to what is better. I also saw the MSP replacement bads there for $10 less, and the picture shows that they are EBC greenstuff, is that true, did mazda put EBC greenstuff on the MSP? If it isnt then what kind are they? I appreciate the help, I just dont want to get bad pads and have to replace them sooner than I want.

The ones on the MSP are OEM Mazda pads. Not EBC's.

I guess it depends on what kind of street driving you do. I had the greenstuffs, and i got alot more dust and some squeeking (which ive heard happens with upgraded pads). So i went back to OEM. They last longer and are quieter. Ive heard more good about the hawk HPS (ive heard also the HP+ Hawks are better than both) than the EBC Greenstuffs. I just drive daily though, i dont have issues with brake fade or failing under racing conditions cause i dont street race. Id rather them last longer and be quiet.

Any performance pad is going to not last, and dust more than oem. They might even eat thorough rotors faster too. But thats a tradeoff for more performance.

oh wow, thanks for setting me straight. I was under the impression that the upgraded pads would last longer than oem, I dont race either (unless I count the occasional red light matchups) lol. I guess I will go with the oem then. thanks for keeping me from making a mistake.

They bite the rotor harder so it wears the pad faster, but u can stop faster
