What have you done to your MSP today?

Clor's MSP looks HOT in your sig pic dude. I can never seem to get my silver looking exceptionally badass...

I installed a pair of Falken springs up front. They be real nice. Lowered the car a lot ( i can't hardly fit on finger between the top of the tire and the wheel well) and is a comfortable yet sporty ride. it looks goooood :)

Washed it yesterday morning, it was badly needed. Put in a lil' more coolant, cause we all know how our cars love their coolant.

Today, I need to solder one of the wires in my ABS system -- I just found it the other day hanging there, think that's what caused my ABS light to pop on, duh. But .. I'm in a massively lazy mood and I just don't feel like doing it!

im better than him off the line but his car is def faster. the race from a roll really shows that. i want him to goto the track with me sometime. hes easily got a 13 second car on street tires, but i bet he could do a nice low 13 with drag radials.

pfffttt abs system on the MSP is highly overated. it works better with out it. I have been driving around with the fuse pulled for almost 2weeks now

She says thanks, I dont know either but when we detail her car it just looks great, like brand new paint... no swirls or anything. and thoes vids were SICK. Your car is becoming a mean mother.
 
yea i thought it'd be damn close, cuz we've got basically the same mods, both tuned. Im catless, but you've got that perrin... but i dunno.

As for the tune, it's pretty conservative. 11.3-11.4 afr's all the way, and we backed off timing a bit from our max (though we did advance the timing a s*** ton).

and yea, thanks michael. she's coming together pretty well. it's a blast to drive now. spinning 3rd just puts a smile on my face :)

any wheel experts out there? could i get away with a 17x7.5 wheel with an offset of +43?

you will probably rub the rear tires like crazy. I have 17x7.5 45offset and would rub the rear tires when I had the tein springs. I did however have 225/45 sized tires, so if you use 215/45s you have a better chance of not rubbing.
You might have the borrow a fender rolling machine , I plan rolling mine when I get a chance to.
 
i have 17x7 43 offset with 215/40 and i dont rub, im lowered. you might be cutting it close with 7.5's

I actually like it better without the ABS, yep -- the system is just so hypersensitive.

My only concern is .. can you pass inspection with the ABS light on? I wouldn't think so. Though, well, I don't know. Not EVERY car has an ABS system. Hmm.

i dunno dont have the problem down here...there is alway pulling the gauge cluster out and yanking the ABS bulb out
 
so since im upgrading my AFC , i had to take it out and i forgot i made it easily removeable since i havent had to fiddle with wiring since its been in.

removed the AFC and its back to stock ecu in 10 mins. heres some pics so you all can bask in my wiring glory.

1st pic is the connectors. 2nd is the loopback i made to return it to stock. 3rd is the package all bundled up.

i would love to make plug n play harnesses for proteges but i cant source connectors. too bad.

stupid hot pipe wouldnt come off for anything... even after driving it around for like 20 minutes...

Guess I better get out the blow dryer.
 
i just had a dream that i was in a parking garage and my wastegate shot itself. The car was all jerky and eventually stopped, and it boosted like crazy but wasn't really going anywhere. And i had to leave it parked, but go relieve the pressure from the turbo by pushing in the clutch every 5 minutes. It was terrible. Then i had to order a new one and find the directions to install, which were hidden somewhere on my campus. *shudder* it was scary, i woke up in a cold sweat..

My hot pipe and I went a good 25 min round and I only got it off the turbo..the IC side owned my ass
